Babies that favor one side
My son always favored his right side and I got this pillow to help. If he was having play time on his black I would put the pillow under. Same with his car seat. I do feel like it helped him. The pillow is soft and adjustable.

Didn't fit right
This didn't sit right in our rear facing Carseat and put the baby in an awkward position that is likely unsafe. It also didn't stay out and he easily took it off defeating the purpose. We are trying a different style.

Awkward fit
Although this item was adjustable it just didn’t work for me and my nephew. Decide to keep item just because didn’t seem like it would be worth returning. Definitely not a quality item
