Red Lantern 7 ft. Tall Window Pane Shoji Screen-Natural-4 Panels Room Divider

These room dividers were what I needed to make privacy screening for guests. However when they arrived every one of them had missing, torn, or ripped from holes hardware. I believe the main problem is that they are seven feet tall and I got the eight panel shades. There were only 3 pieces of hardware for each pair of panels. I honestly think that if they had five or six sets of hardware on each pair they would have given the right kind of support screens this size needed. The screen design is excellent however and are supposedly being replaced by Amazon. Still don’t have replacements and it’s been weeks.

Could have been a good product but it was not made with care. One of the panels is warped, bowed out to prhaps 3/4" from vertical. On that panel also some of the small wooden dividers were warped and not parallel. Finally, either the screws for the two-way hinges were too small, or the pilot holes into which they were driven were too large. About half of them could not be tightened and a couple fell out. These screws had to be replaced with screws of larger diameter. Clearly greater care has to be used by the maker.The paper seems thick and tough, not as delicate as regular shoji rice-paper, which is probably a good thing.

The first one came damaged, but I’m pretty sure that was due to the transportation carrier as I found a large hole in box that resembled a boot print. I returned the product and got a replacement. I use it as a room divider. It’s very aesthetic. Sunlight from my window easily penetrates in the daytime, which I like. Also, it blocks the view of my urban neighbors in close proximity to my window. So it looks good, let’s in light, blocks neighbors views, and is easy to move around.

I started with a 3 panel and then loved the look so much added a 6 panel screen to the mix.........created a private area for a study off the living room......I get tons of compliments on the finished product. The screens coupled with the stands make a beautiful area. The wood is very nice and the rice cloth is sturdy, combined they give a very nice look

Was looking for a 7' tall screen, this works very well. Quality construction.

I created a wall to separate one large bedroom into 2 bedrooms with these panels. The affect is amazing. The quality is not the best, that is workmenship could be better...but most people will not have a problem with them. Each window for example, could use a little more sanding, and a perfect paint job.

The biggest problem is the wood on the right edge of the last panel is warped. Also, the rice paper is pretty flimsy and looks like it will damage easily.

I bought it on big discount, but still it's hell too much money for such a product. white screens are flimsy. and quite big gaps between panels - people can see what you are doing. what's the point then??
