SHAIKHA HIND EDP - 50 ML

I got SHAIKHA HIND EDP. I'm really trying to make this expensive perfume work, but I've had multiple bad experiences. My husband, walking into a room after I'd just put it on, said, "Oh, did you just mop? It smells like it." My daughter, getting into the car with me when I picked her up from school a half hour later, said, "ooh! It smells like air freshener! Did we get one of those hanging trees?" This is NOT the effect I'm going for, and this is a crazy expensive air freshener. I think it might be that there's a slight undertone of Pine Sol to this perfume, and the floral tones promised by the ad copy therefore smell artificial, like a cleaning product or air freshener. I've tried layering it with hyper-feminine scents in order to round out the smell to something that works better for me, but no luck so far. It's not just that this isn't feminine enough for me, it just doesn't smell like it would work for any person regardless of gender. It just smells more appropriate for scenting a house or car.

This SHAIKHA HIND EDP - 50 ML | Unisex is much different than I was expecting. I usually prefer a lot of unisex fragrances since even though I am a female i have always gravitated towards more woodsy and masculine scents that are still complex and slightly feminine. And this one delivers. The bottle is really unique and aesthetically pleasing, it looks really nice on my vanity. The scent itself is definitely geared more towards men, but as I stated before I am a female and can absolutely get a way with it. It’s definitely one of those scents that I don’t love in the bottle, but once I have it on it works very well with my body chemistry. On me it smells more woodsy and very very slightly musky, with just a hint of floral jasmine in there. Overall I’m pretty happy with it. I don’t think it’s for everyone, it’s definitely more of a niche fragrance. But I like it!

This is how this perfume is described. Described as unisex - I agree - I think it would work well for both men and women - maybe best suited to men. The scent is strong when you first put it on, but it mellows over time. It is not a strong fruity scent or a strong floral. To me, the musk is the heaviest fragrance I smell, then it is a combination of wood, peony, and jasmine. At first, I thought I didn't really like it. I sprayed it on a tissue and have been periodically sniffing the tissue and I have come to the realization; I really like it. It is very different than what I would normally wear, but I think it will be prefect for date night! 4 Stars! Hope you find this review and pictures helpful. Very nice fragrance!

This Oud perfume is described as Woody Scent of Poetic Alchemy, Sultry Dark Sugary Fruits, Shimmering Peony, Violet, Musk and Jasmine. I would say it’s definitely suited more for a man, it’s got a very musky scent. I really can’t smell any fruit or flowers, this is very woodsy. What I like the most is how long it lasts even sprayed on clothes, very comparable to my most expensive EDP perfumes. I sprayed it on my shirt before I went out to a restaurant. Lasted all night and I could even smell it the next morning.
