Hasbro Thor Lightning Hammer

I'm 35 and my son is 17 months i'm too old and he's too young for it. I still like it though and I'm sure he will in time. Its good solid toy for any boy.

I was very disappointed because it shows in the picture that its lighting up all over but in reality it only lights up in the lil circle on top where the "missal launcher" is (why that's there IDK????) also the one I got the plastic part is all caved in so the hammer looks deflated.....so NOT happy!!! Thor would not like this Hammer!!!

Purchased this as a 24 year-old adult as a kind of prop to play around with, not really looking for a movie-accurate prop. This toy absolutely blew my mind with how fun it is to handle.The hammer is by no means heavy but has enough heft to make swinging it feel like you're wielding a light weapon. You can flip it in the air without worry of drops hurting anything, the handle is thick enough to feel real for an adult hand, the sound effects are neat to mess around with, and anyone nearby who's familiar with Thor or the Avengers will want to borrow it to play Thunder God!It's an odd feeling to describe, you just have to try it for yourself. The hammer is just plain, simple fun. Adults deserve to have some too!

Bought it as part of a Halloween costume for an 8 year old. It makes noise, the little plastic circle glows, and it shoots the dart....oh, and it's not solid enough to really hurt anything that meets the hammer's rage.BUT IT'S $40!For this?For $40, I'd like the entire hammer to glow and spin around or something. Skipped it in the store the first time around because it was $40 and does nothing.
