This comes with one set of cartridges preloaded and one extra cartridge per unit so total 2 filter casings and 4 cartridges. The casing is made of plastic but fit and finish is good. Seems to be made of strong plastic. It also includes a pair of rubber rings with mesh filter for each unit along with Teflon tape rolls. It is quite easy to add this unit in-between the shower head and the shower pipe/hose. Brings the shower head down by about 4-5 inches but it is not a big issue with most standard installations. Package says universal shower filter cartridge. Will try to order some other brand replacement cartridge to check compatibility. Another product considered on Amazon before ordering this seemed too expensive for the cartridge casing making the cost of entry too high compared to thr cost of their filter units. I am using it for dealing with hair fall issues due to bore well water in Bengaluru. Will update the review after using it for a few months. Initial feedback is very positive.

Initially i received only one pair due to some issue, but the seller was quick enough to resolve the issue. The product is good.
