Ordered this for the 73’ Mustang carrier. It did not fit being too large and was locked in place against the carrier when the caps were torqued down. Called Yukon. They said if the carrier did not have their name printed on the carrier then they did not make it. No name only the model number. Unfortunately, I bought this months ago and installed bearings so it can’t be returned.

Replaced the open differential unit in my 99 Dodge Durango with this limited slip unit and it is an awesome upgrade! On the 9.25 Dodge differential replacement is simple I suggest using only "Timkin" bearings, good quality gear oil and limited slip additive. I used Lucas 85W 140 gear oil and their additive. The differential is working perfectly. While you have things apart it is a good time to inspect/replace the outer axle bearings and axle seals which are very easy to replace at that time as well.
