**Q: Is this supposed to come with springs? Mine did not but there appears to be a spot for them. Is it missing parts? Thanks.**
A: No it does not come with springs.

**Q: This seat is more comfortable than original seat. but i am sliding forward. is there anyway to keep it flat so that i don’t slide forward? thanks.**
A: Yes, it was happening to me.  Push it backwards until it’s in the correct position and then you need to tighten it underneath to that position. Otherwise it’ll rock forward again

**Q: Will this absolutely fit my echelon 4? current seat is attached to a long metal part that goes into the bike.**
A: Mine for perfectly and is way more comfortable

**Q: Can you still ride competitively? Does this seat work for all the types of cycling workouts?**
A: Don’t know about that … never competed ~ we use it at home workouts and I will say that is not stable. The seat moves after awhile …. Or after a heavy y round of cycling.

The seat that is provided with the Echelon bike was awful. So much so that I couldn't use it until the seat was replaced. I tried a few other seats including the Echelon padded seat cover, but none were as comfortable as the Echelon oversized bike seat. I received the exact seat advertised and my butt is much happier. Shame on Echelon for such a wonderful but expensive spin bike with the really #$itty seat.
