This fabric is an excellent choice for cloth diapers.

Q: would this fabric be good for a gathered kitchen apron?

I used this fabric for burp cloths and they were great....terry on one side fabric on the other. I'm not sure for an apron. I really liked the fabric so I would give it a try.

It is not heavy enough for a jacket, and it is not garment quality, that is, it distorts when it is washed.

Q: Good for a baby towel?

I found this fabric to be very soft when washed and dried. It would be kind to tender baby skin I think.
