Seasoning,Btrbeans

My brothers and I grew up loving lima beans, but the way I make them myself, they are awful - bitter beyond endurance. Rhiannon Giddens, of Carolina Chocolate Drops fame, does not like the somewhat similar butter beans, despite my favorite CCD song, and i had to wonder - surely not as awful as my lima beans!Well, I was right. Butter beans are what a decent lima bean strives to resemble. A nice hot bowl of butter beans is tasty and soothing and uplifting.Gonna make me some corn bread and next time i have butter beans pop on the CCD song and luxuriare.

Product itself is good. Can’t find in stores. Not too happy with a couple dented cans and one didn’t have a label. My second time purchasing and would buy again.

I discovered this brand a few years ago. Thought I would try it ot and it's been my go- to ever since. The only difference between this product and a southern cook's is the can!

Glory Butter Beans are really delicious, and seasoned to perfection, although some might say the soybean oil is not particularly healthy (due to the method of extraction ... if it was expeller-pressed, the label would say so.) I like them as a snack and over rice as a main course.They are however way overpriced online ... current price on Publix is $1.83 per can.

Found initially on Amazon and loved, loved, loved the flavor. Later found in local market for 1/3 price for same item.

I love these butter beans but they are hard to find in my area. I hope Amazon continues to offer these to their members

Where I live in Montana it is hard to find these beans. So getting them via Amazon has been great! The quality of these beans are amazing and the flavor is outstanding. I highly recommend getting these locally if you can or here on Amazon for those, like me, who live in areas were they are not available.
