It's attractive, seems sturdy, wasn't difficult to mount and fit nicely (mounted horizontally) on the top rail of a Shaker cabinet door. We did use shorter screws; the ones provided would have penetrated through the front of the door. We previously had a nice-looking towel holder mounted vertically on the same door. Unfortunately, the paper towels unspooled too easily in that position every time the door swung opened/closed. This got to be a nuisance. The new holder solved that problem and, shall we say, helped preserve familial harmony!
