Great for eliminating noise in your old analog stereo gear or guitar amps
I have a lot of old analog stereo gear and also play guitar through old tube amps. All those old pieces of equipment weren't designed in an era of WiFI and switching-power supplies so they aren't designed to be immune from those interferences. I've found that using these chokes on my audio cables, or the audio power cables, or the suspect interferer devices, can reduce or eliminate high-frequency whistles or statics that are ever-present in our modern homes.Note that these chokes do NOT eliminate low frequency Hum or Buzz noise. Those noises are usually from ground loops in your system or electro-magnetic interference from large iron/copper power transformers. These chokes are best for eliminating high-frequency whistles and WiFi/Cellular static noise in your gear.

Something good to throw on your USB cables
I'm an audio person, and I put these on all my USB cables that connect through my computer. They are cheap and easy to install. They might not be doing anything for me at the moment, but my audio is quiet as a mouse :)

Seem to be Good Quality
They are well made and stay on the cable well. Iād say these are really made for USB cables. It does fit on 12AWG wire as well as RG-58. Iām using this for my HAM Radio APRS digipeater setup.

Didn't solve my problem
Trying to get rid of an RF noise in my FM audio setup. These chocks seem well put together and where easy to install on my ceiling mounted LED light fixtures. I had enough to put two chocks on each lamp's power cord, but there was no noticeable reduction in the noise being emitted from my speakers. The chocks were placed as close to the lamp fixture housing as possible. I also placed three of the chocks on the power cord of the FM radio receiver as another possible filter point. I'll have to find another solution to my problem!
