The advertised item says it is Chi Spin N Curl and what I received was an imitation brand (Umate) with poor packaging. I didn't even try if the item is working and made an immediate refund request. Could get an item with the imitation brand at so much lower price than what I've paid for.

Easiest thing I’ve ever done for my hair with THIS much success— BUY IT. I literally have the worst hair: it takes forever to curl even on high temps and even though I’m in my 30’s I’ve never been good at hair no matter the dozens of hours watching tutorials, practicing, spending tons of money on other hair devices, etc. My hair is one of my biggest insecurities and this tool has made it so quick and easy to have curls that *actually* look nice and stay for several days. Best of all its given me confidence. Plus now I can fix my daughters hair with ease and quickly! PS: I saw one girl put stickers on hers to help her remember which was left & right, it took me a few sessions to get that down but believe me it’s a winner.

I am completely inept with doing hair, so when I heard about this I thought it was too good to be true. Boy was I wrong. I have never been able to curl my hair because I’m terrified of burning myself so it’s always only the ends that end up having any kind of curl. With this product I was able to curl all the way up to my root and even my curtain bangs! For reference I have color-treated, fine and wavy 2A hair and I used the low heat setting with the 15 second timer and for the most part I feel like that was hot enough for my hair. As you can see some parts are far straighter than others on my head, but I would blame that on partially user error of using too large of sections, not using hairspray afterwards and that the non-bleached parts of my hair don’t hold a curl as well. This was the first time I used it and there is a small learning curve (I jammed the curler at least 6 times in the beginning) but once you get the hang of it it’s a breeze! I know I’m quoting a lot of other reviewers but truly if I can do it so can you! Also small note, it took forever and a day to get here. Each delivery date came and went with nothing for three weeks. But obviously it’s not the company’s fault and man was it worth the wait!

I’m not artistic any bit whatsoever especially with my hair I can never do anything I can have the easiest curling one and for some reason it still doesn’t turn out right but this curls my hair and all I have to do is make sure that my hair is lined up correctly. I love having curly hair but I just can’t do it but this makes it so easy and you can curl it two different ways. It’s a little expensive but definitely worth it. My new favorite thing to do with my hair when I wanna look nice. Be careful not to put too much hair at one time because it will get stuck and then it will start beeping rapidly and it will not stop until you unplug it. Smaller pieces of hair is much better than bigger chunks. If your hair gets stuck simply pull it but not too hard but it will come out. Then separate the big chunk into smaller pieces and try again.

I have shoulder length naturally gray hair which I'm rather proud of but without some styling it looks frizzy and dull. Unfortunately, I've never been handy with hairstyling tools, but now I don't have to be. This little baby does the work for you. I tend not to leave the curls separated as the young girls do as I'm not a very bold 60 yr old, but for a touch of volume and wave, its amazing. And if I was bold and/or young, that would be no problem for the Spin and Curl. The curls hold up all day and even into the next without product which I abhor. The picture I've posted is actually taken a day after styling on low heat, 270 I think and I'd brushed through them several times since styling.

I just received the Spin & Curl today. Took it out of the box and tried to use it immediately. All I can say is, WOW!! Instructions are so easy to follow (I watched a few YouTube videos prior to purchasing). It heats in seconds and curls hair exactly the way it says it will. AND, I even feel like it does a better job than what is depicted in the product photos. One more thing, I am terrible at curling my own hair. I have never been able to use my hair straightener to create nice beachy wave curls. But this device makes it as easy as 1, 2, 3...even for a novice, low-maintenance gal like myself. Definitely purchase! You won't be disappointed.
