2" PVC Vent Cap Cover with Screen SVC-RS2

I recently purchased an on-demand heating/DHW system. It was vented with 2" PVC through the wall of my home. I was worried that a small bird might enter the vents (intake and exhaust) and damage the system. This product solved the problem perfectly. Screen is very well made and extremely easy to install----even for someone with limited mechanical skills. Will be checking out their other screens when insect season rolls around!

PROS: Nicely made and easy to install offering peace of mind.CONS: Very pricey for plastic cap covers, but then again, what are the choices? No discount on shipping even with multiple orders.

In other words, it's inside diameter is the same as a pipe coupling.In my experience, 316 stainless steel is about the best you can get. I used to work in the petroleum industry, and 316 stainless steel was common for offshore oil rigs. Even after 20 years of salt spray exposure, 316 stainless steel would still look almost new.I paid a few dollars extra for expedited shipping. I received the product in two business days after ordering. Item made of high quality material (USA Made) Very easy to install and did it just over a minute.

I used this for my sump pump drain line, perfect fit for my 2" sch 40 PVC.This will keep the Chipmunks and Mice out of the line.It has (3) Stainless Screws to fasten it to your pipe rather than gluing it in, so it's removable for cleaning if needed.Easy 5-Stars.
