Keeps vintage tube amps running cool.
I bought three of these to cool down two tube amplifiers (One for a power amp and two for a guitar amp), one AC adaptor powers all three daisy chained together. They are dead quiet and do a great job of dissipating heat.Given the cost and limited availability of tubes these days I wanted to keep mine running as long as possible. Keeping the heat from building up inside the amp can extend tube life and I also find that the tone of the amp is more consistent when it's running cool. One fan placed directly over the power tubes for the power amp and two in the guitar amp (One at each end of the chassis) makes them significantly cooler to the touch. If you prefer tube amps these are a worthy and affordable investment. I've found that temperature and stable, correct voltage really impact the tone and performance of tube amps, these are a cost effective way to address the temperature issues and make your tubes and other components last longer.

Quiet, efficient and does the job on the low setting
I first bought 1 of these foreseeing needing to have one handy in case I had anything electronic that needed active cooling. As it turns out I purchased a router in February 2022 that contains a chipset that runs really warm. Other customers appear to have run into longevity issues (ie parts like the wifi radios failing) with the same model router that I bought. I decided to use this fan to cool the router as a precaution. On low setting it's silent, yet has enough airflow to keep the router case feeling cool to the touch. Prior to using this fan the router's case felt really warm. I liked it so much that I ended up ordering 2 more from Amazon (1 as a backup in case of failure and a 2nd one to keep handy for other uses). As it turns out I realized it was a good idea to cool my cable modem as well (its case is also really warm to the touch). Now my cable modem's case is also cool to the touch. If you have a lot of electronics/computers around I recommend keeping these handy for such occasions.

Great for cooling my MacPro 2013
This is a great fan for adding extra cooling for my MacPro. I place it on top of the cylinder and it keeps it cool. I like the variable speed. It is VERY Quiet. I needed the extra cooling because I added the OWC memory and SSD - little did I know how much extra heat the SSD would radiate. This turned out to be a great solution. the silicon feet make it stable. Did I mention it is quiet ...?

Great piece of equipment, and you'll hardly notice it's there.
I bought the fan to help with my all-in-one computer. The internal fan had to be replaced, but, when the machine was opened, we saw that the heat sink was not properly connected to the motherboard. Even with a new internal fan, the PC would overheat, and I was not going to spring for a new motherboard. So I bought a MULTIFAN on Amazon, set it behind the base of the computer, and it's been quietly cooling things ever since. And it doesn't require any attention, (It will pick up dust on the grill, but that's to be expected.) And I have no doubt that the fan will keep doing it's job for as long as I need it to. (And did I mention that it's very reasonably priced?)

Very quiet fan with multiple speeds and not electric static
I really like this fan for electronic gear. I am using it with a Sony receiver with a 120w per channel so equipment heat could be a problem. Also will use it with a Marantz 2285 that also generates a lot of heat. The fan can be set to 3 different speeds, hi,med.,low. It does not generate any static when in use that shows up in the receiver sound...a lot different than such equipment fans from the 1970s & 80s. It is small enough in depth to use on top, at the sides, or below my equipment. It has removable rubber "feet" on all 4 corners (both sides) to dampen any fan vibration, but I didn't feel much vibration is the unit I have. It is a real bargain and I recommend it.

On top of Ubiquiti cloud key gen2
Installed SSD in the ubiquiti cloud key gen2. Made it run very hot. Had a fan propped up inside rack and one day it fell over. Made CKG2 over heat, drive failed.Tried AC Infinity MULTIFAN S3-P - it is perfect. Almost completely silent on high speed, good airflow, keeps the unit cool.

So quiet
Have used AC Infinity fans before so knew it would be excellent quality. This model has a 3 speed switch and a 120v adapter which I needed. Another plus is the ability to gang additional fans via USB.
