This is an excellent Windows 10 tablet
This is an excellent Windows 10 tablet. Very crisp screen and responsive to touch. This is my first ATOM processor device and I have to say that I am impressed. Every once in awhile there was a slight hesitation from the time you touch the screen until the device reacts. But I chalk this up to trying to do things while the Windows Anniversary update was being installed. I have only seen a hesitation once since then and I had 2 or 3 things running in the background, so I can forgive this.I recommend getting a micro SD card (Class 10) for storage. There is only about 16gb left after all of my updates and while that will do for some people, I would think a minimum of another 32gb should be added. I purchased a 64gb card because this device, when not being used for my personal whim, will be used for my UWP software that I write for compatibility checks and testing. This tablet feels good in the hand. The ladies and/or children may have a hard time trying to hold this in one hand. It is only 0.6 pounds, but the width of the device might be too wide for some. Other than that, I see no other issues.

Absolutely a Great Device / Form Factor as long as your understand its limitations
So like most things on amazon with Amazon marketplace you can often be taking a chance, as some times its impossible to know what you are going to get due to lack of detail in Listings. For example this listing lists as having 64-bit windows, which would indicate its actually the latest Nuvision tablet but that hasn't been the case in other lists.Been looking for a 64-bit windows tablet, and there is no shortage of listings on amazon. I am happy that I ordered this one, fulfilled by One Plus Tech, as it is as advertised. Its a Nuvision Model TM800W610L and is running 64-bit version of Windows 10 Home. I was looking for a tablet that would run full windows 10 in 64bit mode as I need a small portable device I could use to program some commercial radio equipment. This tablet fit the bill. So am happy with it for what I purchased it for, but for most people it won't replace a laptop but if your understand the limitations is a very handy little platform.A couple of things to keep in mind:#1 It comes with a charging cable as well as an OTG cable to allow you to plug in USB devices (keyboard, mouse, hub, scanner, usb hub, ethernet adapter) . But since OTG cable and charging cables use the same port you can't have it charging while using an external USB devices. Have tried all sorts of OTG Y cables, OTG power hubs, etc. No go. So you have to either be charging the device, or using an external USB device. If you are going to use external devices, I would recommend a cheap USB powered hub. So at least USB devices aren't drawing power from the tablet and speeding up the battery drain.#2 It runs in Windows 10 in tablet mode. Something most people aren't used to that type of windows 10 interface. You can turn tablet mode off and use it more like windows 10 PC, but without a keyboard or mouse its hard to navigate like that. So for most people will take a bit of getting used to. A nice bluetooth mouse/keyboard combination makes it easier if you are thinking of using it like a laptop.#3 In my opinon you are going to need at least a couple of microsd cards. I would suggest a 64gb card for storage, and a 16gb card to create a windows recovery image. Like most windows PC, there is no reinstall media. So there is a menu entry to create a recovery media. You could use an external USB drive, but what I found is that the device ran out of battery before it was done making the recovery image.(see #1, can't use external USB while charging). So having a 16gb card to put into the microsd slot, you can create the windows recovery image, and have tablet plugged into power. (Windows 10 says it only needs a 8gb stick, but found some that 8gb cards aren't really 8gb so get a 16gb microsd). Then once you have the recovery images made, remove it, put it in a safe place. Then put the 64gb card into the device and use it as location to install your applications, as 32Gb of internal storage really isn't a lot of space.#4 Only has 802.11n, so no 5ghz. Which means if you live in an apartment complex with saturated 2.4ghz spectrum the wifi can be slow. Not a deal breaker for me, as I tend to use it out in the field with it tethered to my phone. But can be an issue if you are going to watch netflix and have an area with quite a bit of 2.4ghz wifi congestion.

Wifi range is extremely short
I really like this tablet. It is pretty amazing for $79. So why two stars? The wifi on it is absolutely terrible. I don't care that it's only 2.4 GHz compatible, I can deal with that. It's the range. I am an IT professional by trade and I have a commercial-grade network in my home, including pro-grade access points, mounted on the ceiling. One is near my office and bedroom in the hallway, and it works great for all my other devices. This device, no way. I get more than 6' away from the access point and it goes dead. Even standing directly under the access point, I can't get a full set of bars, that takes holding it up right against the access point. Of course, what good is a tablet with no wifi? If the wifi worked correctly, I would have kept this one for sure.

Better than you think, be reasonable about expectations.
This device is a marvel of running a full version of windows in a functional manner with the absolute MINIMUM of cost and hardware. The first day it will be virtually useless as it updates itself, but afterwards it is surprisingly useful. With the addition of an active fine point capacitive stylus, (Gouler is my current pen), a case with pen holder, and a very small folding bluetooth keyboard this shockingly cheap, incredibly tiny machine can stand in for my surface pro yet is no larger than a paperback book. Yes.. it would be great if it had double the SSD storage, and double the ram, and not such a weak processor, and a better battery. All of the basic spec's are really about as low as they can possibly go and still work. But.. it works. Will an ipad mini run circles around it for battery life, speed, apps.. yes. But this is an actual full OS computer, and look at the price people.

Nice tablet
I am a performing entertainer, and I use this for my music. It is forever on "airplane mode", so I cannot opine on its worthiness for on-line purposes. However, this is the second time I purchased this item, because the first time, the battery became useless and would not charge. As a result, I used it with the charger all the time. I'm hoping to have more success with the second two (I purchased two earlier) tables I now have. For the price, a 32 GIG hard drive, with a windows-based tablet, makes this really nice.

Stopped working and needed reset after a couple minutes but after reset became completely useless got stuck in recovery menu and wouldn't recover reset or boot up...I've had a good nuvision 8 inch before but something was seriously wrong with the one I ordered from here...best electronics deal was the seller.
