Have you tried the monkey hook picture hangers? I believe you can purchase them from Amazon. I set my picture on a table up against the wall.

Q: Can I frame a 3/8 inch thick foam board in this frame?

The depth of the frame is not deep enough to fit a 3/8" foam board between the glass and the backing. Unfortunately, the turnbuttons would not be able to close.

Q: What does “comes without mat” mean?

I didn’t know how to explain it, so I googled it. Here’s the answer: “In the picture framing industry, a mat (or matte, or mount in British English) is a thin, flat piece of paper -based material included within a picture frame, which serves as additional decoration and to perform several other, more practical functions, such as separating the art from the glass.“ You can look it up. It also shows framed photos to demonstrate. In simple terms, it’s a photo frame with glass, nothing else.
