Ordered this for my son for Christmas. It is pretty heavy (my 11yo couldn’t lift it himself, needs adult) and seems well made. Works well. This was his first time using a wheel and this was so easy to use, he got the hang of it within minutes. The bowl below the wheel is huge to catch water and have your sponge and tools at hand while working. It comes with the basic tools to get started although we ordered additional to supplement. There will be splatter so be sure to put the wheel in a space where you don’t care about mess or get drop cloths (we did both). Very happy with this purchase and my son is thrilled! Would definitely buy again!

I was missing the tool set, the water basin moves freely which will easily cause messes, the foot pedal and handle shift without changing the speed which makes for very inconsistent adjustments, reverse direction doesn't spin at all which is annoying because I like to build walls as if I was left-handed, the grooves on the plate make centering and cleaning difficult, and also would likely rip up your hands. Any ceramicist already knows clay use will age your hands quickly, so this is just insult to injury. Also, it is very short, which to be fair, product dimensions are given, so that's on me, but it's still just inconvenient. I had to sit on the ground, at which point, the foot pedal was difficult to use. Just don't buy. It's inconvenient and a complete piece of crap.

The wheel arrived as promised with all of the accessories. It simply doesn’t work. I plugged it in, turned it on, and it just doesn’t work. I reached out to the seller about the problem. They apologized and offered a replacement which I would have been happy to have, but they didn’t have one to send me. They did promptly send a refund, but I would have preferred to have a replacement wheel.

This is very great tool for crafting clay.i am more than satisfied and happy with the product. I am happy that I can make my own clay pottery with this tool. This is very great in making my job easier.k wish I had this earlier.
