Dial N Spray Hose End Sprayer

I’ve had my Ortho Dial N Spray for a couple of years now, and it works really well! I originally purchased it back in 2022, and here we are in 2026 and it still works as if it was new. The build quality and reliability have completely exceeded my expectations for a lawn and garden sprayer. It's extremely simple to use as long as you clean it out with just water at the end for at least 30 seconds. Rinsing it through thoroughly after every application prevents any leftover product from clogging up the dial mechanism, and that small step keeps it performing perfectly year after year. If you want a dependable, easy-to-use sprayer that actually lasts, this one is worth every penny! Highly recommended!

My second one of this product. The first was a bit of a lemon I believe as the nozzle would not stay seated in the sprayer no matter what I did. Also keep this out of the elements if you want it last. I left mine outside during a freeze and the plastic housing cracked apart. My second item works much better, the nozzle stays well seated when opening and closing. I still intend to keep it out of the elements (heat and cold). I use this exclusively for fertilizing my garden with a concentrated liquid fertilizer. Much easier than mixing a gallon at a time and watering by hand.

Works as described. Easy spray to the 2nd story of our home. Easy ratio dial.

I Love these hose end sprayers. I have one that I use for my apple trees, bought this one to use a different chemical for my lawn. Has I dial to get mixture of product correctly distributed. I like the fact that I can put product into the sprayer hook it up to my hose dial in how much to distribute and spray away. Once finished if there is any product left over I can pour it back into original container as it does not get contaminated by water. Once done just washout, flush with water and put back on shelf for next time. I am very happy with this sprayer. Has 3 different sprays, sprinkler, jet and center, works well to reach top of apple trees on jet and rose bushes on sprinkler.

Game changer. I used to have to fill a little hand pump 50 times to spray a yard. Measure every time as well. Now no more! Measure once and walk around with hose! Saves SO much time and aggravation. Quality seems pretty good, thick plastics, etc. Some people mentioned leaking, I had some water leaking from where your hose screws into the sprayer. If your hose thread doesn't extend very far out, this will happen, the hose isn't sealing tight against the gasket. Just get another gasket at the hardware store, its a standard garden water pistol gasket size, then, double up the new gasket with the old one, and screw your hose back on. No more leaks. Enjoy! Cheap too for what it is and how much time it saves

I'm on my third sprayer of this model. They work okay for a while, but they always start leaking. Also, the filter at the end of the hose that picks up the product eventually rusts and plugs. It's okay if you just use it once in a while, but it's not a workhorse. I can't find another option that looks any better, though.

I hardly ever write reviews but I had to tell the people that this thing is the BEST hose-end sprayer I have ever owned. Y’all, I was sleeping on the dial-and-spray feature, but it works perfectly. Depending on the product you are applying, you may have to do a lil math to convert the label instructions for amount of product per gallon, but the sprayer itself mixes the solution at exactly the right ratio and speed of application. It is made of very sturdy plastic and seems like it will last many growing seasons. Don’t waste your time and money on those subpar-yet-still-expensive sprayers at the hardware/big box stores. Landscaping and gardening folks, you need this jawn in your life tuh-day!

Leaks really badly, needs an extra adapter to use in the UK, expensive, took 3 weeks to arrive - in all, a waste of money. I wish I had read the reviews more thoroughly before I bought it. Unfortunately, I didn’t test it out until the return date had passed, otherwise it would have gone back!
