One of the best soccer backpacks on Amazon
Careful, the "Junior" version of this backpack is probably smaller than you think. I purchased the STANDARD size for my 10-year old daughter, which is perfect for her. This JUNIOR Squadra is perfect for my 8-year old son who plays soccer. Size 3 ball fits in easily, and next season's Size 4 ball will also fit well. He likes the color. I like the high quality of the fabric itself; does not seem as thin as another name brand backpack that I purchased for him (which began ripping after 3 weeks). I also like the 2 side pockets which he stuffs his shoe on each side, just like the college players do.The main compartment easily holds his 1.0 Liter water bottle, his jacket, and a couple of random toys that he brings to play with his friends after practice.

Diadora Junior Squadra Backpack
The backpack is the perfect size for all your soccer needs. It has two side pockets which could be used for storing socks, small shin guards, mouth protection etc. It also has a small zippered pocket on the front which can store small things like car keys. The bottom mesh front stores your ball in a separate pocket, but it also cuts back on half of what you can put in the bag when you do carry your ball on you. With the soccer ball you can still fit a change of clothes along with a soccer uniform and you can probably fit your cleats as well (though when my boyfriend uses this bag he straps them to the front of it using the front straps). The front straps you can also probably use to strap a towel or whatever else you can think of. Without the soccer ball in the bag you have more than enough room for anything you need literally very roomy. I would have to say it is very sturdy and my boyfriend uses it for college for carrying his stuff to class and for his games. The backpack says Junior but it is a great fit for him and he is in his 20's.

Great bag, but small for my 8yr old.
My daughter loves this bag but it's a bit small for her. I wish I had ordered the regular sized one. Her size 2 shoes barely fit in the shoe pocket and her guards and socks are squished into the other side pocket. On the inside, we can get in her thin homework folder, reading book, and pencil case along the back. Her soccer shorts, shirt and socks site on top of the ball area. There is no dedicated water bottle space, but you should be able to get a medium sized one inside the main compartment. However, you won't fit that much more on the inside. Her size 4 ball fits easily in the ball compartment along the bottom and it would probably hold a larger youth size ball as well, but I doubt an adult size. Her lunch bag will not fit inside the main compartment, so I secured it to the top loop of the backpack with a metal clip. Although heavy with all the gear in it, my daughter says it it easier for her to carry the backpack than it was for her to carry everything in a regular gym bag. She says the backpack fits inside her locker much easier than the gym bag, too.

Perfect for a Growing 6-Year-Old!
This is a great size for my 6 year old - a little big on him now, but manageable and will last a few years. There's plenty of space in the top opening and his size 1 cleats actually fit in the vented side pocket (barely.) The only thing I wish it had is a pocket on the other side for his water bottle.

LOVE IT!!!
We absolute LOVE this bag! It's a little big for our 5 year old, but it will be able to grow up with him for a while and doesn't take away from the bag at all. The material is sturdy, and the rate we're going, my son will need a new, bigger bag before this one wears out (just what you look for when buying)! The space for the ball is perfect too and it is still spacious inside with two side zipper pockets for snacks / drinks, etc. With it being designed as a backpack, my son loves to be like the "big kids" with it on his back. Great, great purchase!

Great for preteen
My daughter needed a bag for soccer and this works great. I love the 2 side pockets. It easily fits her shin guards and other things like sunscreen and a pump. She is preteen and it fits her well and not too large even with the ball inside. She fits her size 4 ball in the ball pocket easily but this will take up a lot of space in the actual main pocket but we still fit her cleats and a water bottle in there fine.

quick delivery
Good quality But I wish their was more room for the ball. My son's soccer ball is for a 6 year old size but it is a tight fit. Hard to get the ball out of the bag.

Great and Perfect Backpack
I bought this for my 8 year old son but the bag is a perfect size for him to continue using as he gets older. Fits his ball, cleats and other miscellaneous gear in it. I couldn't ask for anything better then what I purchased here. I spent time looking at Dick's and Sport's Authority and this bag is much better then any of the bags I had looked at. Also, the price was considerably better (half price).
