Not for laser engraving
Bought these to make laser engraved business cards or name tags. However, as nice as the wood is, the cards are highly variable relative to being burned by the laser. It is not possible in advance to know what settings to use for burning, so there is trail and error to start. However, once decent settings are found for a piece it does not replicate for other pieces. Each piece responds differently to the laser which makes the failure rate extremely high. I just made 5 name tags and threw away 14 pieces of material that did not burn properly. These are probably great for non-laser projects, but steer clear if you are going to use a laser engraver. I am experienced at laser engraving, the machine used is a Neje 7 watt Master engraver.

They are exactly what I needed
I got these mainly for testing out my laser engraver. The grain isn't the best but you can probably buff it down for a better finish. They are cut well and identical. Same shape and thickness. Very consistent. It engraved well and it cut easily. It’s thick enough to not flex and break easily. I’ve dropped the cut rose a few times and it never chipped lol r broke. The photo is my daughters birth photo that I attempted to laser engrave. The settings were being played with but as you can see, the wood burns very well and consistent. I will buy again if it’s needed for anything.

Perfect for Canon ZINK photo stickers!
I had strung up some photos I had printed with my Canon Ivy instant photo mobile printer, but the problem with the Canon ZINK paper is that it curls if you don’t stick it on anything. I needed a good backing to stick the photos onto, and these were perfect! They are 2x3, which is the same size as the ZINK paper I use.I do think there is maybe a millimeter of error in measurement—the photo I’m holding in my second photo shows that there is a little bit of this wooden tile peeking up over the top edge of the photo. Maybe the ZINK paper is too small rather than the wood being too big? They are thin enough that they can be clipped with the mini clothespins that i got with the string lights to hang up small photos, but thick enough that they wouldn’t warp with glue. I tried bending it and it has pretty little give; if I bent it any further it would just snap, so it’s fairly sturdy and inflexible.
