Q: will this work on smudge proof appliances?

This is the very best product we have used to clean (especially) stainless steel. Nothing else comes close. Leaves a very clean look. Can't really comment on the smudge proof type of finishes but there is nothing on the label that suggests not to use on such finish. And a very small amount goes a long way.

Q: If I use this to clean my grill will the stainless steel discolor once the surface gets hot?

We have used it many times on our weber stainless steel bbq and we have not yet seen any discoloration.

Q: I currently use clr stainless steel cleaner and it leaves streaks. drives me nuts!! will this be hard to blend in and possibly leave streaks?

Wash the surface first with mild soap and water.

It works well on stainless steel. Does not leave streaks and you only use a small amount.
