Shea Moisture Soap 5 Ounce Bar African Black (Eczema Therapy) (148ml) (2 Pack)

I have developed some crazy sensitive skin over the last few years. Shea Moisture original African Black Soap is all I can use on my dermatitis, so when I developed some mystery itchy spots on my lower legs, I tried everything! I knew when the original African Black Soap wasn't helping that something was up. I did some research, tried some much pricier options but came back to my trusty Shea Moisture (why didn't I do that in the first place?!) Since the 1st shower with this Eczema Therapy soap, the itchies are completely under control. I wouldn't suggest foregoing an appointment with a dermatologist, but this soap is worth a try if you are experience some skin issues. My disclosure - Don't use this on broken skin. It isn't drying, but it isn't necessarily moisturizing. There are full-sized bits of oatmeal in the bar, so be mindful of that if you are using the bar directly on your skin without a washcloth. Make sure the bar is not sitting in water. To me and my sensitive skin - It's worth the price. Is it pricey? Yes. You have to decide what is worth it to you and your sensitive skin.

It reduced my bacne a little bit. The product does not say that it’ll instantly heal your skin problems. Give it time and be patient when dealing with your skin.

My family uses black soap due to Eczema and Hidradenitis. This soap is soothing, and moisturizes our skin, somehow we don't feel the need to scratch all the time :) The soap is not a cure for our conditions, however if gives some relief.
