My first time cold smoking, used these cherry pellets to cold smoke chicken before grilling. 4 hrs of smoke made for delicious smoked chicken. Probably will never hot smoke again! I found these east to light, they stayed lit without my help, and would have produced smoke much longer than the 4 hrs in my 12" tube but I was getting hungry and it was time to grill. Best smoked chicken I have made so far! Better than the cherry wood chips I hot smoked with before and I didn't have to soak these. Glad I tried cold smoking with these, this is my new normal. To the folk at Bear Mountain: Thank you for a very good product and for helping me up my game! I'm not a 5 star review guy but this product is noteworthy.

NOT FOR CHARGRILLER PELLET SMOKER!!!!! I bought these pellets and within just a few hours they completely jammed up the Auger on my cher-griller smoker. I've used a number of other pellets and never had a problem! These pellets fall apart WAY before the make it into the burn box, clogging up your auger and eventually stop it, and sending smoke and lit ash back up your auger shutte back to the pellet bin, this is extremely dangerous and could cause a bad fire. If that doesn't happen at best it will extinguishing your cooking fire. I will not buy them again. However,,,,, they do make fantastic smoke and add great taste to your ribs. I'm disappointed they do not work with my pellet smoker

I usually buy another high-end brand of pellets locally but I was having trouble finding cherry and decided to buy from Amazon. I was going to get the usual brand but saw this one and it was rated high and was cheaper so I decided to try it, I am glad I did. The smoke was better than I am use to and the flavor was fantastic. It also burned longer so the value was great. This will now be my go to brand.

I have tried a few different brands of pellets in my CampChef smoker, and these are the best value for the money. They burn longer and cleaner than any of the other brands I have tried, and all the flavors are good. I won't buy any other brand now. Don't waste your time or money on inferior pellets, just find the Lumberjack flavor you want and order them. Delivery is quick enough, and you will not be disappointed

No matter how hungry you are, you should avoid popping these in your mouth. They do not taste like cherries; however, it's a huge hit when using them to smoke meat. It still doesn't taste like those radioactive jarred cherries, but the pellet smoke has a great flavor, and I highly recommend it.
