Wall mount electric fireplace. Frame appearance looks very nice, unit is heavy, highly recommend a mix of drywall toggle anchors (100lbs) and drywall stud anchors(50lbs). Provides good heat, heat blows from front top of the unit just below the wood trim. Unit is on the louder side but we do not mind since it is hanging on the wall in the bathroom and the bathroom fan is louder. Bought the unit for appearance and heat, so no complaints and so far so good. Remote works, just a little confusing when trying to read instructions, just decided to wing-it and did the opposite when it came to the 2 buttons and wallah it worked. This is a definite 2 person job and at first and still not too sure about the flimsy feeling bracket holder for the unit, guess science and physics is doing their thing, haven't had the unit that long, so only time well tell if and how it holds up and I will say this that after the bracket was anchored in to the wall and studs it did seem much sturdier. My only real cons are the decorative accents(media) provided with the unit are ugly and extremely heavy rocks too. So I used crystal/diamond like rocks from another unit and it now looks awesome, Also, the assembly instructions makes no sense when it come to taking apart the face of unit to insert the media (rocks); there is no cover and lastly and the biggest con is the media (rocks) just lays on the shelf open face. Overall, good with the unit, packaging and delivery was very good, no damage!A fan of Dimplex, have older products that are more than 5 years and still working and looking great.
