Griffin Citron/Pink Survivor All-Terrain Case + Stand for iPad 2, 3, and 4th Gen - Military-Duty case with Stand

I love this case. I am a new mom, and use my iPad all day long to look up baby stuff, recipes, communicate with the outside world, you name it. Of course I am tired and clumsy now, so I have been dropping my poor iPad and spilling liquids on it regularly. It took my abuse like a champ until it fell from a sofa on a hardwood floor. After a very expensive repair I decided to invest in a really nice protective case. This case got really good reviews, so I decided to give it a shot. I installed it today and have to say that it is absolutely awesome.The case contains 4 separate parts. The iPad first fits into the rigid internal pink polycarbonate frame. The frame has black shock absorbers on the inside. The yellow soft silicone cladding fits over the hard internal frame.The front panel with the pink polycarbonate frame and clear screen protector snaps into place, and pink stand is attached last. I read some negative reviews about the clear screen protector. Some reviewers noted that it affected the screen touch function, image clarity, and color. When I first received the case, the screen did appear too foggy, and I was disappointed. As I was installing the case I realized that I could forgo the front panel altogether, and the polycarbonate and silicone back covers would be enough to protect the corners and absorb the shock from falls. However, I decided to give the front screen a try. Imagine my surprise when I really did not see a difference in the display or touch function. I have used several different screen protectors in the past, and found flaws in all of them ( difficult to install, affecting the display.) This screen protector is the best, super easy to install and clear. I have an iPad 2, so maybe the story is different with later iPad versions with better uretina displays.Some reviewers claimed that the case is hard to install. It comes with easy instructions, and it took me literally 1 minute.All ports and holes (headphones, speakers, camera, charging port, etc.) on the iPad have corresponding hinged covers on the case- super awesome for dust and spill protection. The volume, home and on/off buttons are protected with sealed silicone buttons. The silicone is soft and does not make it harder to press them. The stand is ok, seems a little flimsy, but I don't care- the silicone cover has a nice non slippery texture, so propping it on something would be easy. I love the bright color- as I mentioned before I got mine in fuchsia pink and electric yellow. Lastly, some reviewers claimed that the cases they received were fake. I checked out Griffin website, [...] and they have a list of all their authorized retailers. The retailer that sold my case, Datavision computer and video, is on the list of authorized retailers, so I am reasonably sure it's authentic. Plus it's so beautifully made and fits the iPad so well, I would be very surprised if it was fake.

I really love this case - The colors and style are exactly what I was looking for, and I love how secure my iPad feels in it. The yellow silicone gives it a nice grip, so you don't feel like it's going to slip out of your hand. All in all, I'm really happy with my purchase, as I couldn't really find any other cases that caught my eye like this one.The only down side for me is that my stylus doesn't work quite as well with the screen cover that came with this case. I don't know if maybe my stylus is just cheap, but it's frustrating because I really love using this one art/drawing app, and the stylus doesn't write as smoothly on the screen anymore. In fact, there is a certain section of the screen along one edge where it doesn't seem to recognize the touch of the stylus at all. I should note that my finger still works just fine on all parts of the screen - I don't notice any difference there - it's just when I use my stylus. Very strange and annoying, but not to the point that I am going to bother searching for another case. I may try investing in another stylus and see if that helps.

I ordered this for the iPad at work that we use almost exclusively for credit card charges since clients always want to grab the iPad. Shipping was fast and the case was exactly as described. It was fairly easy for me to get the iPad into it although there was one nail breakage :( I have had one of these cases in the past for a personal iPad at home and I know that they are strong and sturdy so I wasn't worried on that score. Everything went together and the case worked perfectly except for the fact that the case opening over the earphone jack is too narrow for the credit card swiper/chip reader to fit. We now have a perfectly good case that we really can't use. Someone suggested trying to cut away the sides of the case around the jack to make it work and I suppose that will have to be done in order to make this work for us. It would be nice if the company made the jack area just a little bit wider so that a variety of things could fit into it, or at least let you know that readers won't fit.

I absolutely love this product. It has given me security in knowing I can leave my 2.5 year old on her own to play and learn on the ipad. It is slick enough to not be bulky like the Fisher Price Apptivity Center Case we replaced. It allows you access to the volume button, camera (although you can protect it with a removable peice), home button, power button and speaker (also has a removable piece). Although we haven't used the stand but once, it was adequate for what we needed it for. The stand is removable so the girls take it off. I just have to remember where I put it. The company that we purchased this from was quick on delivery and a great price! have purchased two of these in different colors. The product withstands fingerprints, drool, water spill, and the activity of a toddler hauling it around the house. I highly recommend this product!

This is the second Survivor cover for the kid/family iPad2. The first was all black and cost 3x what this one did - but it was worth every penny. The iPad was left sitting on the roof of the LoserCruiser (aka mini-van) when putting a kidlette in his car seat - the iPad came off of the roof when we hit 35mph...the iPad survived with only 2 dents in the case. THESE CASES ARE FRIGGING AMAZING!!!This case however, is not same from a fit and finish perspective: the port covers come off very easily through normal use; the volume buttons do not properly align to the buttons on the iPad.Overall the case fits the iPad well, but it is not quite as snug as the first cover we had. For the price I think this cover/case will be fine, but I don't think it will stand up to the 35mph-flying-off-roof-of-the-car test!

Have had this for a year and am delighted with it. My daughter dropped my iPad 2 creating a crack on the screen and I bought this hoping it would help the iPad live a bit longer. One year (and a one-year-old son) later and not only has the crack not expanded but the iPad works perfectly with the case being in tip-top condition. During the same period my wife had another reputable brand case for her iPad 2 but it has disintegrated. We have just ordered a new Griffin Survivor to replace it. Cost is high but not as high as buying a new iPad. Have and will continue recommending this to lots of people.

Das erste hat viele Stürze überlebt, Davon auch welche von 1.30 m Höhe. Das I pad wurde sogar 2 mal quer durch den Raum geschleudert und hat es ohne Probleme überlebt, da endlich ging ein kleines Teil kaputt, so dass da I pad bei einem Stürz hätte rausrutschen können. Als Zeit für einen Ersatz. Die gleiche Farbe, da man sie überall sieht und Leute drumrum eher denken es sei ein Spielzeug anstatt ein teueres IPad. Mit dem Schutz des Mikrofons entfernt ist mir das Ipad auch mal in die Badewanne gefallen, aber ich brauchte nicht mal die Hülle abmachen und das Ipad wurde nicht nass!

Got 4th gen Ipad for 6yr old daughter for Christmas and I've been having kittens every time she uses it due to their history of cracks, but after purchasing this I have no fears as this product is solid, the Ipad is secure and protected well........ I even have no worries when her 16 month old brother gets in on the act and has a go!!The colour is bright but brilliant and the delivery fast and hassle free.

Very pleased with the product would recommend to others

I got it for my niece and she loves it , especialy since they are her favorite colors. But we like the product for its protection against drops and little hands.
