I LOVE THIS THING! I bought this for my 3 year old this past xmas, but, to be honest, bought it because I wanted to play with it.The product video had me sold immediately. It’s exactly as is advertised. And even though the description says it comes with 7 cans of Play-Doh, it actually came with double the amount - 2 cans of each color. That’s A LOT of Play-Doh! And was definitely a happy surprise seeing as it’s so cheap.The molds, or stamps, are easy to use. And since it comes with (double) the colors that are shown in the product photos & video it’s easy to duplicate what’s shown.It took a few times to figure out how make the characters correctly so that they’d be converted to the CGI characters. You just have to make sure to remove all of the negative areas.The app is SO COOL! It’s so fun to watch what you’ve created come to life! We’ve created all of the characters, but only one of the action stampers so far, and can tell by how awesome the one we did do was that the others will be just as amazing.You can’t beat everything you get out of this set for only costing $14. I honestly can’t say enough about it. My only recommendation is to buy & try it out for yourself. You won’t be disappointed! It’s great for kids, but creative adults will get a big kick out of it too.

The app took a little while to figure out for us but once we got it the kids had a lot of fun. I think they may want to include some gameplay directions in the box.

Cute, but had a really hard time finding the app you need to play online. We had to go to Playdoh's website directly, as it wasn't available in Google Play Store. Once we installed the app, it was very easy to use. The game is fun and simple enough for younger children, but kids over 8 would probably get bored with it. Also, your "character" gets erased when you close the app, so save a picture of it if you think your kid will want to play the app without "building" a new character.

my 8 year old grandson has really enjoyed this and I have too. We have created some real characters. It takes a little experimenting to figure out what all can be done. He tried scanning other things too and they worked with the animation. It kept him away from the computer games for two hours. He was fascinated by his creation and kept inventing more. Hoping to get him into some programing down the road and hope this will be the beginning of an interest. At first I thought he might be too old for this, but we both have had great fun with it. For younger children some parental help definitely needed.

This is actually very cool. I got one of these sets thru a donorschoose project for my classroom. The app is free to download. The characters that come with the set unlock new worlds in the game. So one set for the class to share works fine. When they add a character they share the platform and cookie cutter shapes. You can actually just use playdoh on white paper too with the free app, but the characters need to be unlocked with the cookie cutters from the set for extended play. Best app I have seen yet. The students love it.

Doesn't do alot to keep attention. There's so many pieces that u have to keep up with. Some attach to the base, others just have to find a home for. My autistic 8yr old became more frustrated with losing the pieces. The base is designed well enough to house a compartment for storing.

This is a must have toy for any child with access to a tablet or smart phone! It combines the physical/mental tangible creativity of Play-Doh with the 'cool' virtual world of 'apps'. I highly recommend this interactive toy. Although the Play-Doh that is included is sufficient - it is better to buy extra for added creativity.

Loads of fun. Son and I can spend hrs making characters and backgrounds and then bringing them to life. Only warning. Has to be done in great lighting or else the shadows can mess up the character scan.

This product excites the schoolager children to create their own character and it helps them enhance their creativity.

Students are loving the Play Doh Touch Studios that we purchased. Great product!
