Looks just like the product photos and is great for a larger knife set! I have 8 kitchen knives ranging from small to large including a meat cleaver and full length bread knife and this magnetic storage board allows ALL of them to be placed on one side together. I love having them on display in my kitchen and the wooden board adds a rustic homey feel to the room.Note - the magnetic traction does not go all the way to the left and right edge and stops about 2cm / 1 inch from the edge.Would highly recommend as a home organisation tool or gift!

I had one more knife than my existing knife block had room for, so i decided to upsize. This knife block could easily up to around ~20 regular sized knives. The magnets are strong. Assembly was easy. The board came with pre-drilled pilot holes, a Phillips-head screwdriver, and an even an extra screw.Dinging it a half star based on the magnet placement. You lose about an inch or so of space on the edges. Otherwise it’s great.

Perfect if you don't want to drill in your wall and want to have a magnet to easily reach knifesIn terms of storing knifes, for ones I paid a lot of money, I wouldn't use the magnet. It is perfect solution for storing cheap knifes and have them handy for small jobs. It looks elegant and it does the job well. Because it is so heavy, it holds well on the table top :)If you have sharp & pricy knifes, then any magnet is not a good idea because it apparently influences the blade (micro bends are created when you pull the knife from the board).If you are on the market for a magnet for storing knifes, this is really nice and elegant product that will serve you well!—-Edit, magnet is strong and it is bending the knifes soooo i reused it to store kitchen equipment (see video).

This is a superb knife block, not only it does hold a big amount of knives, it is very versatile since there is no limitation to the shape or size of the knives. Less used knives can be stored on the back of the block while those in constant use can be stored on the front.The block is bigger than I expected, it looks much smaller on the images but since it can take not only knives but also other metal utensils, it actually saves space on the countertop.It is made of nice-looking wood, looks very classy, minimalistic. The block comes unassembled but with a screwdriver and it takes seconds to put everything together.The whole thing is nicely boxes, would make a good gift.

I really like this, I have different knives from different brands so finding a block that holds them has been quite difficult, with this however it doesn't matter where they are from and also it's easy to pick out the knife you need for the job at hand.....especially if they have similar handles. Most of the knives pictured have quite robust and heavy handles but they attach really well when placed in the position I have them, if I have them side on they do seem to slide down a bit. It's double sided so I've put my lesser used knives at the back and there's room for other bits too, ive freed up cupboard space by sticking our dino cookie/sandwich cutters on it and I also stick my measuring cups ect on it too. The wood grain look is really nice, different on each side and it's really sturdy too. 1 thing to point out though, when I first tried to attach the base the screw holes didn't line up but they did when I flipped it round. All in all this is a sleek, modern and functional kitchen accessory and I would recommend it especially when on offer!
