My daughter (6 1/2) loved this story
My daughter (6 1/2) loved this story. She laughed out loud and made me read it 5 times the day we got it. I think this will be one of her favorite Munsch books! I highly recommend. For adults, I don't find these that funny, but this author definitely knows what the kids like!

Fun book, you'll enjoy reading it to your kid
Fun book, you'll enjoy reading it to your kid. No consequences for the little girl repeatedly disobeying her parents, though. Lost a star for not having a moral. The only lesson to be learned here is do whatever you want, it'll be OK.Also by R. Munsch:Try Smelly Socks & Stephanie's Pony Tail, too.Skip A Promise is a Promise & also I love You Forever.

This is my favorite children's author, I used to read this book to my sons, now my grandsons enjoy the books and the Robert Munsch collection I bought for them. These books are timeless.

Reliable Munsch
Another of Munsch's enjoyable children's books. When ordering the book online, I thought from the cover and title that it might take place in China, but it is in fact located in Northern Ontario. The family run the local Chinese restaurant, but aside from the mention of the best chicken balls in Canada, Gah-Ning's ethnicity is entirely incidental. Story of Gah-Ning's attempts to get to the shopping mall in the next closet urban center has usual Munsch hyperbole and rhythms, highly enjoyable for parents and kids alike. Art work by Helene Deputeaux is wonderful, even though we are conditioned to associate Munsch with the artwork of Michael Martchenko.

Childhood favorite!
This is a childhood favorite book of mine that I now purchase as an adult to give as gifts to my nephews and other small children. Truly a fun little read about a small Northern Ontario town (which I happen to live in!) with a great price point. Can't ever go wrong with Robert Munsch!
