A solid second book that will have you biting at the bit to get the next book!
Good news and bad news... if you haven't read book one yet and you came to read reviews to see where the series is going and if it's worth reading the answer is a 100% yes!A fun quick read with interesting characters and a unique enough spin with light hearted humor sprinkled throughout without it being over done with action and intrigue in trying to figure the mystery out.All great things and this is definitely a series to recommend, my only complaint once again just like in book one is the extremely over used word mate like in "Hey, mate how's it going?".Good news it went down a bit from being used 88 times in book one which basically translates to being on every other page down to being used 65 times in book two. Let's be honest though that is still way too often for a book that is under 200 pages.Books about having actual soulmates and talk about their mates don't use it as much as these books do. Every single time that she responds or says something that the author tacked mate on the end of just was so jarring and annoying and abrasive that it was impossible to ignore.I'm maybe reacting a tad bit more than other readers since I read book one and two back to back so I had to read the word 153 times in less than 400 pages and I'd be happy to never have to read it used like that again.😁Other than that these are great 5 star books so enjoy, but please author if you read this skip the mate use because it didn't seem to if it was a serious conversation or in bed the word was used everywhere.

Great 2nd book
So I really liked the story arc with book 1 and found the characters intriguing but book 2 was much better as far as the writing went. The characters are developing well, Price no longer says mate in practically every sentence, and the flow of the story was much better to book 1. Really enjoyed the story and am invested in it. Still loving the multiple POVs since I feel like it really helps me get to know the guys and connect with them. Overall I'm liking this series and look forward to book 3.

Annoying use of mate!
The books storyline and plot you interesting. But her use of mate after every few sentences or after every other word for main character got annoying very quickly. Hey mate, ok mate, why mate, what's up mate....she lives in santa fe New Mexico not Australia!! If anything you should have her speak a little Spanish. Or better yet just stop using mate all the time. It's not needed and distracting from the conversation.

Sassed into Submission
This book is mostly Prince Ezra and Chris' story. Prince Ezra has the means to help Chris in a way no one else can. When Chris is on a mission to get Sabian back, it seems only a literal trip to Hell is her only option.Only now that Ezra is no longer possessing Chris, things are strange. There is this automatic pull they both cant help feeling toward each other. A feeling like if they don't touch or hold each other, they might just go crazy. Are Chris feelings for Ezra real? Or is it just this crazy pull making her feel that way? While on this mission, Chris meets old "friends" that definitely remind her why she stopped being an exorcist in the first place. Lotto has it coming.Mal and Aaron are still doing their thing, trying to keep things normal while Chris is rescuing Sabian. Can they make room for another man in Chris life too? This book was good. I enjoyed it a lot. More overall action in this book compared to book 1. I have a feeling though, we are not quite done adding to her harem. This book was full of new information that only help Chris cause. With the 4-horsemen on her side, can she stop the apocalypse?*Overall 4.5/5*Heat? 4/5*First person POV*Med Burn

This series is going to be so good!!
Dakota Brown’s new book does not disappoint. This book picks up a little after the first one with Price doing her best to find her incubus. Ezra plays a huge part in this book and I believe that’s my favorite part. I ❤️Ezra so much. You get little snippets of what makes Price so unique but that whole story seems to be flushed out in later books. There is action in this book, just little bit of other woman drama, and some smexy scenes. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole book from the beginning to the end, from Mal to Ezra, and the inclusion of some new characters that I really hope get a spin off.Seriously read this series, read this book, and enjoy the laughs

Good, but slow pacing.
This was a good second book for the series, but the pacing was a bit off for me. We switch between perspectives and usually just as something dramatic is about to happen. I believe this was meant to add suspense, but it really just fizzled the momentum for me. I haven’t fallen in love with one of the heroes yet. There has been emotions and inner thoughts and usually this enough for me, but I just haven’t found a connection in this one. Maybe because not enough is left to the imagination? Also, this is pretty low heat. She attempts to add some kink, but it just lands super bland for me. I gave it 4 stars because I actually was interested enough to read all the way through without skipping. The story is good and the characters are interesting. I’ll be reading the next book in the series.

Good
Ok, I still have an issue with some of what was said about the weather in Sante Fe. It’s just because I’m from that part of NM and I j is it’s high elevation desert that doesn’t get to the extreme heat that is stated in this book. It’s not Tucson. Anyway, with that pickiness out of the way, I liked this book. It’s a good series. I’ll definitely be reading book 3.

Save a Demon
Chris is trying to recover and get her strength back before she tries to get her demon back. Unfortunately they find out that he is in Lott hands and he has a bone to pick with Chris. The Demon Prince shows up asking Chris for help. There is Chemistry there that the both of them are trying to figure out. Mal and Aaron take care of Chris's pizza shop but get some unexpected guest. To save Sabian, Chris will have to go to hell with Ezra.

THE PRICE OF EXORCISM
Book 2 in the Pizza Shop Exorcist series. Loved it. Great story and we get to meet some new characters that are going to continue through the series. One of the things I love most is that the MFC isn't the usual female. She's snarky, is covered in tattoos, sports a kinda mohawk, is 35 and loves the 80s punk scene. Her character is lovable in an uncomman way. She is her own person and those she claims as hers, whether they are lovers or friends/employees she always cares and puts them first. Can't wait for the next book!

Loved it
From start to finish this series so far has blown me away. These books grabbed me from the titles. Fun, sex, action, and a strong story line with a powerful leading heroine with men that worship her.

This book took me a little while to get into it
This felt like a slow start on what was ultimately a great book. I’m hoping that the next book has more of ‘everyone’ without the group being separated for too long.

Awesome sauce
Price has her harem up to 4 with more mysteries to explore. Defiantly more action packed than smut but love this continuous series. Can't wait to read more. JL

Fiery neigh
Very good writing, just a few mistakes/misses.Entertaining continuation, action, intrigue, snark and the occult. The world building really picked up in this volume, more interesting characters and growth for the female lead.Romance and steam were also a plenty. A thoroughly satisfying read.
