Waste money mi A2 battery problem

Bought this phone for my dad to replace his Samsung and I was very impressed. In fact I think that it beats the iPhone and Samsung and the price is excellent.

if you are buying this phone here are my pros and cons ... you decide ...Pros:1) Good looking phone - its lightweight and feels good to hold.2) Excellent camera - especially when taking pictures in the dark.Cons:1) No Standard USB port - comes with its own cable however if you lose this or misplace it, you are won't be able to charge your phone!!!2) No Micro SD slot - can't expand the storage or indeed if you have an old micro SD card where you have stored old pictures and the like .. nope can't access them on this phone.3) No headphone jack - though comes with an adapter which plugs into the their proprietary USB port.All in all, not impressed. Reluctantly initiated a return!!

I had SUCH high hopes for this phone....woke up Today, Phone is off and will Not turn back on. Said FASTBOOT with picture or robot fixing, then NO COMMAND and a dead robot image appeared. Spoke to Xiaomi today 0800 916 0561 and they said its broken and its too new as l have had it JUST 5 DAYS..cant turn Phone off its stuck on turning off, cant reset it, nothing..have all my data l cant erase and now have to find a print shop IN THE MİDDLE OF CORONA to send it back Today, l now have NO PHONE...2nd phone l have purchased from Amazon and have had to send back. Not Amazons fault...its the Phone..l am So mad 😡

Have enjoyed using the phone since I received it. Had a problem with the charger (crackling and some smoke!) but it was handled quickly and efficiently on the phone today (because no response to my email four days ago sadly). Looking forward to receiving the new charger tomorrow as promised.
