CU2101 Radiator Replacement

Installed in a 1999 Jeep Wrangler TJ with standard transmission and factory air. Radiator can be used on vehicles with automatic or standard transmission. The fit was OK, some of the holes for the fan shroud were not exact but I was able to make it work. The frame support is a lighter gauge than stock. However, if you wanted to, it is possible to swap your original radiator frame. I chose not to, as my jeep is rather rusty. So far, this radiator is holding up well. I gave 4 stars because the fit for some of the holes were exact and I had to buy a few nuts and bolts, but Hey! You can't beat the price! Item arrived within four days! My delivery guys like to play kickball with my packages. The radiator was well packed in Styrofoam, hardened plastic bubbles and cardboard, no damage to the radiator. Yes, I would recommend to a friend.

Fit was perfect in my 97 I6 TJ. Drilled out some larger holes to bolt in the shroud, as opposed to using screws. No leaks so far, but as of 01/07/2020, it has only been installed for a day. Will update if I have any issues.As of 09/07/2020: no issues thus far.

Leaked like crazy when I put it in. Frustrating since I spent over two hours on it. Car is kept in a rural area at my vacation home. I just dumped the defective radiator and drove to the nearest parts place to buy another since I needed it done that day. Sorry I bought the cheapest one it turned out to be a real POS. Should have known better. Wondering what kind of QC these people have ????

Apparently, they make 2 different versions of this. The one you can just throw at the Jeep and it settles in its place on it own, and the kind I got. Read reviews about how it bolts right in. I didn't get that one. It ain't bad. I eventually got in my 04 lj. Even after the break aways, I had to modify it, aka cut some more off of it to get around my condensor lines. Trans line inlet wasn't the same size either. Had to go from a clamp type hose clamp to a screw type. Got it in. Seems to work. Overall Happy

I ORDERED THIS RADIATOR AND INTALLED IT, IN JUST ONE DAY IT SHOWED A SMALL LEAK FROM A FITTING ON THE BOTTOM OF THE UNIT SO I CALL THE COMPANY AND THEY SHIPPED A REPLACEMENT OUT IMMEDIATELY... IN JUST TWO DAYS I HAD IT IN MY HAND...… INSTALLED THE REPLACEMENT AND IT WORKS PERFECTLY.GOOD PRODUCT AND GREAT COMPANY.

Read all the reviews and thought I was getting a good product. Less than a month and 50 miles it sits in a shop because drain plug blew out. Now costing more money to put ANOTHER radiator in. Yes could have replaced with a drain plug but no guarantee that would work. Very disappointed in the product and money wasted.

Good OEM radiator for the price. However I had to swap out the stock frame as the cutouts didn't line up with the mounting holes and the AC lines you can widen the holes and the cutout for the AC lines but it was easier to swap the mounting frame. Holds well ,no leaks, maintains temperature. 2002 Jeep Wrangler TJ

Never opened the box, but CUSTOMER SUPPORT is pretty good.I was prepared to replace it, but I had also bought a new cap and fresh hoses with clips and it had turned out it was the cap gasket that was my issue. Waited until the last day to send this back, just to be sure. Money returned, no issues.
