These are really strong magnets, I purchased then to get a weather station to hang on my refrigerator - when I say strong I mean strong: as I would go to put the station up the magnets would grip so quickly that the white glue wouldn't keep them attached. Once I purchased some super glue and let it set for a few days they did the trick and now I have my electronic weather station on my frig!They are strong enough to hold that up without sliding, I wasn't able to utilize the screw though. They were to long and didn't let the weather station sit flush to the refrigerator but the magnets themselves worked great!!! I would trust these magnets to hold up expensive tools, pans or anything I want securely attached with a magnet!

I needed a magnet for a strange purpose - in my laundry closet there was a little space where I needed to slide some brooms, but didn't want them to fall back behind the washer/dryer (stacked units) as it was a really tight fit where they couldn't be easily retrieved.So, I needed some strong magnets to stick some screws through to make a small block of wood that would stop my brooms from falling. Much easier than what wife wanted...which was to build something - and I'm tired of projects!These did the task with zero problems, super powerful and well constructed. Screwed two of these to an 'T' shaped piece of wood...and presto problem fixed.Great!

These don't work for what I needed. I was making a bottle opener with a magnet behind the board to catch the caps and these are neither big enough or strong enough. I'll keep them for the kids for a science project, but they are simply too small and weak for what I needed. Double check the size before you buy!

I was in search of a non-drilling option to secure old, heavy towels on a quality shelf in our basement. I wanted them to serve as a curtain, keeping kitchen items dust-free, I thought I would use magnets. The problem was finding ones that were strong enough, and I must say these little magnets fit the bill perfectly and stay where they're placed! They come with non-magnetic screws (which I didn't need) and small plastic ring spacers that prevent the magnets from sticking together (again, not for my use), but I must say that I am very impressed and consider them to bean excellent buy! Although these magnets are small and slim they are strong! I bought these not only to hold my gates shut on each end of my deck but also for my doors under my deck where I utilized storage space.About the size of a half dollar a single screw holds them in place. I bought washers about the same size with a small center opening to attach to the opposite side.I had bought bigger magnets encased in plastic before but they pertrude out too much plus are glued in and over a short time had to reglue with gorilla glue.

Whoaaa! That is a strong magnet. Used it to hang up a very heavy mirror onto a brick wall. It is so strong that you think twice before you set it close to any metal. Great value! Wondering if I ought to keepmy uncle with a pacemaker far from the mirror?

I wanted strong magnets for magnetizing screwdrivers. I plan to keep one in each of my tool boxes. The magnets came with one screw installed in the magnets. In order to take it out, I had to separate the magnets. When I did, a plastic divider fell out. Instantly the magnets stuck together, but not that evenly, so I was able to separate them. I got the screw out, but then accidently got them too close and they stuck together so powerfully that I needed to get a knife to pry them apart. These magnets are little, but they are very strong! Just what I wanted!

Worked perfectly to open and close the front panel of a whirlpool tub. Was afraid the magnets would be a little too powerful to easily open (incredibly strong magnetic pull) the panel, so I inserted a small piece of terry cloth in-between the two magnet parts and held it in place with the screw used to hold the magnet in place. Worked perfectly. Still a strong hold to keep the panel closed, but allows for easy opening. A huge improvement to the layers upon layers upon layers of velcro previously used to hold the panel closed. This is a permanent fix and is extremely efficient.
