Nice design and solid brass construction - no plastic! Good chrome quality and fits snugly to wallInstallation is made easier by use of an included brass pipe that is threaded at one end to screw into the a pipe elbow inside the wall, and has an O-ring at the other end. The body of the Kohler elbow can be adjusted front-back for by a small amount to take into account wall thickness after tiling. BUT, be careful as the product comes with a "standard" length pipe that accommodates depths of 1 13/16" to 2 5/16". So either mount the in-wall elbow appropriately or order a different length (optional) Kohler pipe for your depth.

this elbow is built like a tank, but prettier looking. The chrome finish is a 10 for sure. Better than some of the other big brands. Nothing much more to say... It's an elbow, but it's a VERY nice elbow.

It is beautiful, but I could not use it because the stem only has +/- 0.25" tolerance.

Great quality outlet that is actually made of metal unlike the other brand! I bought the hansgrohe ibox and a rain shower kit and needed a wall outlet that matched. When I got the hansgrohe outlet it arrived scratched and to top it off it was made of plastic!! I quickly returned the junk and did some research on Amazon. I am so glad I found this wonderful Kohler piece as it is very high quality for the same price!

Love the sturdy quality and slick look

This elbow was very attractive and easy to install. However, the supply pipe that came with it was way too long and to get a replacement the right size is $17 plus shipping. Considering the price of this elbow, I opted to return and get something else that included the proper size fittings.2 stars because there was no warning or pipe measurement in the description to save me the trouble of having to return and reorder.

Mine was KOHLER 1247986, I had right at an inch and an eighth. After literally weeks of agonizing over what I really really needed to complete my new shower, I finally took the jump and ordered this. Fuggggggg, easy install and absolutely awesome look and feel. Can't go wrong

Has no way to adjust length coming out of the wall well so it is too long have to get a new shorter pipe

Supply elbow solid brass and heavy, finish really nice. Received a open package that someone returned, likely for the same reason I might return it again. The 1/2 supply pipe that comes with it, only has small adjustment, it shows in the instruction booklet you may need to get a shorter or longer piece to fit your shower. I'm ok with that. What makes zero sense, if you setup a Kohler valve at the proper depth, the included pipe too short. You will need next size up. What in God's name was Kohler thinking? Kohler parts don't play nice with Kohler parts?. Getting a longer supply pipe, it's $25 thru amazon.ca, for real?? The proper leght should be provided or included for free. It's a custom pipe, nearly impossible to make your own. It's a beautifully useless piece. Either make it 1/2 Standart size or include pipe that works with your own stuff. Unreal.
