Ortega Flour Tortillas, 6 Inch, 12 Tortillas

Only once did I ever see or hear a TV ad to a pizza establishment having a cauliflower and flour crust 🤔 I found this purchase on Amazon, and just had to try it 🤔 no cauliflower taste to this tortilla product, and it's very soft to cut, and chew, straight out of the package. I've had my package sitting out on my table for about 5 days now, and no sign of mold or going bad at all!

These cauliflower tortilla shells are very good tasting! They are thinner than the flour, but that's a good thing in my opinion. They don't taste like cauliflower, just better than flour. Lighter and not chalky like some of the thicker tortillas do. For a bit of a healthier quesidilla, I sprayed, Can't Believe it's Not Butter spray" on one side of the tortilla, laid it down in the pan, sprinkled generously with Kraft fat free cheddar cheese, a few pickled jalapeños and topped it with the other tortilla, sprayed on the outside side. Cooked on medium heat, until lightly browned. You must be careful and keep a close watch, because they tend to cook faster than the flour ones. I cut in triangles and dip in Pace Restaurant Style salsa. It's thinner than the regular salsas, but I like it better. This way will cut the fat and calories, if you choose to.

I like these - they are good if you fry them or bake them

. . A good value and not a bad product. M y only complaint is it is a stiff and chewy Tortilla as compared to the Mission brand and others. I find the other brands to be flour and bread like while the Ortega tortillas are more of a flatter gummy less leavened style.

These are good for diabetics looking to watch their carb intake, because they don't have a high carb count. They aren't overly thick and hold up well with fillings you put in to them. The size is good for making your favorite wrap for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Flavor and texture are alright, but they fall apart easily so be careful while handling them. These could definitely be cheaper.

I ordered this incorrectly instead of "regular" tortillas and thought well, my mess up we'll just try them. HOLY GOODNESS are they HORRIBLE! They cook nicely, wrap nicely ... but the TASTE is awful. I love cauliflower crust pizza and other cauliflower option. These taste like that sour raw cauliflower/cabbage or like when you burp up vegetables when you have acid reflux. lol that distinct. Just chalk it up to booboo on my part but these are a booboo on the recipe part.
