Large and sturdy
I'm using it to store lettuce in my fridge and it holds a couple heads of washed and torn lettuce ready for eating.On the sizing, the lid does increase the height by about an inch. The lid is also not symmetrical, as only one side has a latch you can lift up and the other side needs to lock in first, requiring you to orient the lid in the correct direction.

Keeps salad fresh for weeks!
This storage container is fantastic!I got sick of having my salad go off after a few days and constant trips to the store but with this is keeps fresh for a whole two weeks!It’s sturdy and has a nice latch on the side.I put paper towels beneath the inner basket to soak up any additional condensation.Love it
