I used these with a small battery impact, twice when using them the ( 13mm then the 10 mm) came apart. That can be a disaster when doing engine work as the little metal parts are flying all over the place. The band that holds every thing together is just press fitted on, it will not stay when you use them, found 5 of them that the band was slipping off.We did fix all the rest by welding the metal band on the base so it wouldn't keep sliding down or off, which caused them to come apart when it does. These came apart so quickly and with so little use I wouldn't recommend them to any one. save your money and buy a better set, I gave what was left of the set to another tech who is starting out.

recommended purchase.
I am a former BMW Master technician that was a major purchaser of Snap-on, Mac, & Matco tools. So I like quality tools. I was missing a couple of the smaller sockets as I had not purchased a set due to not needing them on Beemers. I now piddle at home with cars, atvs, ect and wanted to complete my set. After checking on the pricing of the individual sockets I needed and finding out that one socket is now as much as this set, I took a chance and got this set. While the smaller sockets are not as short as the pro brand sockets they work just fine for my applications. Overall they are well built and are holding up just fine. I would purchase another set of these. They appear to be of as good a quality as the pro brands I own currently.

Snap on 1/4 drive 10mm swivel sockets are $51 dollars a piece, for that you can get this entire set.
Been using these for 3 years, no problems. Bought a second set for the price of a and single 10mm Snap on, and I own the Snap on set, just needed three sets of tools at this point. I wish they would sell them individually.

Not worth it.
I am a Ford automotive technician and work on vehicles bumper to bumper. I put a fair amount of wear and tear on my tools as I tend to use them daily. I found myself in need of sockets with a swivel to get in tight areas. so I bought this set thinking it could handle my 1/4 electric impact. The 7mm, 8mm and 10mm broke after the second or third time they were used. Complete junk! If you're going to put light use on these and not put them on an impact they'll probably last for the occasional DIYer. If you're a professional automotive technician, don't bother buying this piece of junk.

The 1st socket I used was the 13mm, it came apart within a minute. The collar that holds the swivel pin in place, slid back and who knows where the pin went. I am left with two halves of one socket. I was using a cordless impact driver. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL!
