It's a great assortment and I was able to get the combination I needed. (to hold a microphone on a stand) But the metal is very very light and eventually the stem broke off.PROS: real metal, big assortment so you can find a combination you needCONS: fragile and can break

Just what I needed to connect my mic's original shock mount to the boom arm I already had. I wasn't sure about the size of this but through the process of deduction I was able to gather I needed a half inch male thread and I gambled on this when I saw the assortment because I know that microphone mounts don't use too many different sizes. Everything ended up working out and I was able to keep my old boom which is fantastic because everything I've come across looked cheap or didn't meet the same specs.
