M Is for Manger: An ABC Board Book for Toddlers about Christmas and the Nativity

Absolutely amazing book! The artwork matches the sweet sentiment throughout this book. Due to Covid we were unable to actually be with our granddaughter, so I'm saving it to read to her next year when she'll be 3 years old. I can't wait! We also have a 6 year old grandson and this will be perfect as he learns the alphabet and sounds. Each letter of the alphabet is represented by a wonderful illustration of part of Christ's birth. At the bottom of each page is printed the corresponding biblical passage and where to find it, so this will lead right into them reading the Bible. I can't say enough about this book! I'm ordering one for all parents of young children on my list!

This is a perfect book to read, an easy way of learning the alphabet & Biblical scripture. We read the book through many times, eventually my grandson & I turned it into a fun game of no peaking. We take turns picking a letter ( no peaking we would say as we'd take our turns choosing a letter ) & reading it together, he reads the first sentence on the letter page withsome help.He also likes to trace the letter & the vines together. We love the pictures & the scriptures. It's a favorite of his to read each night before bed when he comes over.We first borrowed it from the library when he was almost 3 years old & I renewed it constantly & decided to purchase it. He is now 6 years old & still loves the game we've created together. He's learning the story of Jesus & learning to read it himself. We both love this book & have a great time together. Hoping to share this book with any new grandbabies & will keep it as a keepsake when he or they are grown for the cherished memories we made reading it together. Will purchase as gifts for my great grands & or baby shower gifts in the future, maybe Sunday school kids or our neighbors children.

I love ABC books for littles, and this is both beautifully illustrated and written AND it has the corresponding verses to each rhyme. I also really loved that it presented The Gospel message on letter "S" (page 20). After all, that's the whole reason Jesus came in the first place! I think this book is going to prompt lots of talks about Jesus, salvation, and the real purpose for celebrating Christmas.

Such a cute book! It would be nice if the characters weren't all white (except for just one page, as for as I remember). Everything except for the color of skin fit my criteria. And also, it would be nice to have this book in Spanish. We were looking for a proper Christmas book in Spanish, or one in English that fit our criteria. This was the closest--just sad it wasn't offered in Spanish. Perhaps it can be translated so that next year it is available in Spanish, and other non-English languages, if possible?

I buy this book for all the babies first Christmases. Everyone loves it! Perfect for littles, telling the Christmas story through the alphabet. It’s a nice sized board book, beautiful illustrations.

Love this book - the best Christmas ABC book I have seen. I love that it goes through the alphabet following the sequence of the nativity story. The illustrations are beautiful as well. All in all it is a lovely, well executed book!

I was looking for baby books to take to an upcoming shower and stumbled across this one! It is great! Biblically accurate, fabulous illustrations and a fun walk through the greatest story ever told. I just ordered 5 more for gifts and I’m keeping the first one for myself!

LOVE THIS BOOK! It's an excellent way to share the Christmas story with the adult reader and the little one who is listening. I purchased it as a gift but the book has arrived slightly tattered around the edges and worn on the cover- not acceptable to give as a gift. Otherwise I would rate as a "5".
