Q: The bags are washable but it doesn't give any other instructions. How do you wash the bags?

I use a brush and hose to scrub away residue. I do not use soap. I allow them to dry in the sun.

Q: Does the water leak on the porch?

Yes. If you over water it will seep out. We have trays under ours when we start plants inside, but once outside we don't use trays but we also don't put them anywhere that the water run off will ruin something. We love these for vegetables plants, herbs, my son uses for medical marijuana. Once our vegetables are harvested the whole thing can be tossed..very good price on these also.

0.93 cu ft, almost 1 cu ft to fill a 7 gallon grow bag.
