Great supplement, lot of health benefits..

These guys are gaining a good reputation and so I decided to purchase from them rather than the usual vendor I use because their price was lower and the quality seems just as good.Spermidine is a natural polyamine that animal studies have shown stimulates autophagy, a process that recycles cellular components and may have anti-aging effects. Spermidine levels decline with aging, and some studies suggest that increasing spermidine intake with food or supplements may improve health and longevity.However, there are very few human studies using spermidine 10 milligrams as a supplement. I found only one clinical trial that used this dose in 100 older adults for 90 days to test its effect on memory and cognitive decline. The results were not very impressive, as there was no significant difference between the spermidine group and the placebo group on any of the cognitive tests.Another clinical trial is currently recruiting participants to test the metabolic responses to spermidine supplementation at doses of 5 or 10 milligrams per day for 12 weeks.The aim is to measure changes in biomarkers related to inflammation, oxidative stress, mitochondrial function, autophagy and aging.Therefore, it seems that more research is needed to establish the optimal dose and duration of spermidine supplementation for humans, as well as its safety and efficacy for various health outcomes. But there is a lot of interest from legitimate researchers, because the non-human studies look so promising. It's typical that the early studies on mice don't directly translate, but there wouldn't be a lot of activity researching the potential if there wasn't real evidence that there is real potential! I had headaches when I started this, so I backed the dosage down to only one per day instead of two. That was still a little bit strong, so I was taking them every other day. Eventually I could take 1 10mg per day. When I got to the end of the bottle, I wasn’t sure if I had had any results? I am retirement age and felt like my skin may or may not have looked better. After a couple of weeks, I realized when I brushed my hair, I no longer had a brush full of hair. Then I realized when I vacuum, I no longer have to clean all of my hair out of the brush each time. My hairline was starting to get sparse and after taking an entire bottle, I could see baby hairs is growing back. Ordered another bottle and will report back if I noticed other great results.

The label says 10mg of spermidine per serving. So it is natural to believe that you are getting 10mg spermidine from the serving size of 2 capsules of this product. That is what is indicated on the label, whereas in fact the amount of spermidine in a 10mg serving of spermidine trihydrochloride is not 10 grams of spermidine any more than drinking 8 ounces of H2O is 8 ounces of hydrogen. The amount of spermidine in 10 grams of spermidine trihydrochloride is much less than 10 grams. It seems to be common practice among the spermidine retailers to advertise the quantity of extract, or concentrated wheat germ, or the oil, rather than the actual quantity of spermidine. This makes it almost impossible to compare the products and determine their respective price of spermidine.When a question was posted asking how much spermidine, the manufacturer didn’t answer.All that being said, I still recommend this product. Why? Their certificate of analysis by a 3rd Party Lab is persuasive. I believe their manufacturing is generally to high standards since I’ve never seen an example of their products testing significantly lower than what is stated on the label. In my opinion this item gives you the most bang for your buck compared to other spermidine capsules… you just need to be aware that you must take more than 2 capsules if you want 10mg of spermidine. Were it not for what I see as misleading labeling, I would have given them 5 stars instead of 4.
