I love this basket! It was so easy to install too and I'm completely tool illiterate and I figured it out and did it really quickly with no trouble. It's sturdy and so convenient. I even put my dog in it and ride her around. It's really cute. It holds quite a bit of weight and looks really good on my bike. The attachments are sturdy and I feel really secure about putting things in it. I highly recommend this basket over one without the extra support bars. It's the perfect size for a paper grocery bag or something similar. Just be aware that putting smaller objects like a cell phone in it with nothing else... well, these things have a tendency to "pop" out of the basket if you hit a bump so be sure your stuff is secure! I bought little velcro straps from Lowes and if I'm carrying small stuff in it, I will put the velco straps across the top of the basket to ensure nothing pops out of it, or just put something heavier on top of it. It works great though and was exactly what I was looking/hoping for. I'm very pleased. I have it on my Schwinn mountain bike and there's still plenty of room for a light to be attached and all that good stuff.

It assembled very easily, and seems pretty sturdy. This unit is designed for front forks that are rigid; if you have shock absorbers, go elsewhere. It can mount on the axle if you have standard axles (not easy-remove types). If you have the easily removed axles you have to use the small holes and find some 4-mm bolts.I am a bit disappointed with the ruggedness of the basket itself. I think it should be made of a heavier grade of wire, or have more wires in the basket. A little abuse in the bike rack by others already have caused some bending.But I would buy it again.

Quite happy with this basket - perfect for groceries! Mounted easily and securely to my Electra Amsterdam, adding good look and functionality. Made of quality wire, designed for strength and balance. Base of basket is 7"x12", with 9" sides deep tapering to a top opening of 9.25"x14.25". Practical sizing for real groceries (see photos). Fits reusable grocery sack well. More than large enough for a 6-pack of bottles, and firmly fits a 12-pack bottle box in with an inch or so above basket top. Could easily make solid bottom or sides with a variety of materials to handle smaller items. I sewed a fabric basket liner with about half a yard of fabric, and added flower garland for fun. Adds joy and carrying capacity to my trips around town!

I read the reviews before purchasing this basket. The only complaint that I really found, of significance, was that the support braces were too short. I have a 24" bicycle because I'm not very tall so the 26" bike was not an option for me. My husband put the basket on my bike and it did not have to be modified in any way. He is an engineer and was impressed with the quality of the basket and the ease of installation. I love that it's deep and will hold a grocery bag without difficulty. The basket is very sturdy and can hold some weight. I will be riding my bicycle to work in the Spring and Summer and have some heavy items to transport back and forth. I am extremely pleased and highly recommend this basket.

This is a well-designed and attractive front bicycle basket. It is not overly large but adequate for carrying small bags of groceries, a bookbag, etc. without noticeably interfering with front steering. It has excellent stability thanks to easy-to-attach rim post supports in addition to two secure handlebar supports. It fits well on an adult size (700cc hybrid) bicycle. Assembly time was just a few minutes. If you're in the market for a front basket for your bicycle, get this one!

The seller Xtreme Bike & Sport broke the basket before sending it by bending the metal mounting tabs 180 degrees inwards into the box to fit it in a shipping box (why not put it intact in a slightly larger box?) When it arrived I had to bend them back out to mount the basket to the handlebars, as pictured above, and both tabs cracked but didn't break off completely.I asked for a refund and they wrote to me "I'm sorry you can't return items that you have broken." !!!!!!!!!Also-1) It rattles like crazy even when it's empty, and it just isn't sturdy, no matter how well you install it and tighten everything.2) The basket clears my front wheel by only 3mm. I worry that if I put something heavy in it, it may cause the basket to sag a bit and hit my front wheel while biking, which would probably result in an accident. I have exactly 9.5" of clearance between the handlebars and my front wheel.3) The angle is wrong and the legs that come with it are not adjustable, so the basket sits at a weird angle. (The front of the basket is 3" higher than the side closest to the handlebars).4) It looks cheap. I got the white one.

Nice well made basket. Not very big but as described. Had my 11 year old son install it so he can practice working with tools. He had an easy enough time and took about 30 minutes. Feels very stable. No problems with installation. Would buy again.

I love this basket. Big enough for me to carry a full sack of groceries. Great for carrying everything I need each day, as I bike to work.I recommend this basket!
