This was easy to put Tige and fun, only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that the glue tube was completely dry so I had to get my own glue

my son and i enjoyed making theseit was not hard, but just challenging enough for me and my 12 year oldeveryone likes to turn the handle and move the guitar guy

This was fun to build but a liitle too expensive for the quality of the product.

I've built seven Timberkits and all of them had quality issues. Some of the issues can be fixed with adjustments or modification, some can not. The guitarist I received had several issues; three of them I fixed with substantial modifications, one can only be fixed with a spring but there is no way to incorporate the fix and conceal the spring. For all intents and purposes this model more a figurine and less an automata model. If you purchase one of these models be prepared for disapointment. There is no way I would expect a young kid to be able to deal with the poor quality of these kits.

The media could not be loaded.  This puzzle was very satisfying but not as 'simple' as a jigsaw puzzle - you do have to put your brain into gear. I shall definitely do some more. The instructions are good but some bits cannot be easily described and that's when it gets interesting - there were definitely a couple of occasions when I found it easier to invent my own assembly sequence. Timberkits website has some very useful videos.The completed models are fine as they are with no decoration but they cry out to be painted which is a completely different ball game. Ideally, each component part would be painted prior to assembly but it ain't that easy to know where to put the paint until after the assembly is complete. Enjoy.

Gave this to my husband for Christmas - he took his time and it was completed in approx 3 days - time spent waiting for glue to dry etc before moving on to the next bit. Is a good working model and shows the movement of a guitarist well - we have the double base player and drummer as well...... just need the piano player and we have a band !!!!

It is a novelty piece, poorly designed by modern wooden model design standards.

thanx for another kit.... the super guitarist looks fab.. along side his mate the drummer.... both painted in matching uniforms.... now waiting for delivery of another mate (piano man is orderd for my christmas pressie)

Unopened as this is a present but highly recommended due to super-quick delivery.
