First off, A+ customer service. My set was missing a piece, I contacted the distributor, and had a response and a tracking number in about a day. As to the instruments, they are perfectly serviceable. Considering that the entire set costs less than a handful of instruments from a "top tier" manufacturer, this makes these perfect for a just in case emergency kit.

I ordered these instruments to keep in my trailer for hunting season and RV trips in case of accidents or mishaps. I also have several first aid kits and Stop the Bleed kits available. Better to be prepared than not have what you need.

These are mostly for practice/ dissection. They forgot my alligator forceps but sent them quickly after I notified them. Had no problems after a week of sutures and other miscellaneous.

Updated after dealing with seller. They replaced the missing instruments and replaced one pair of visibly defective iris scissors. Decent customer service. It took a pretty long time to be handled but overall good service. Will buy through them again. To be entirely honest I am extremely disappointed by this product. When this arrived I realized almost immediately that I was missing pieces. 4 instruments and a pack of the blades were NOT in this kit and they were listed as supposed to be. The instruments I do have are not nearly as high quality as I expected and many of the forceps do not have locks, and many don't have guide pins. Several stick where they should not, and many are incorrectly sized tools as well. You get what you pay for. This s a relatively cheap set despite it being a good chunk of change and you shouldn't expect too much. I've emailed the company asking them for a replacement set and replacement items to complete the one I have to make up for the significant issues in this product but we'll see how they reply. Customer service often makes up a lot for product defect in my experience. If they replace them I will update and edit my review to four stars, but until then I am extremely frustrated by the low quality, incomplete product I received.

Just received this today and it looks great! Plating on the tools appears solid and consistent and with tool ends well finished. Bought this set so that I will have some tools on my emergency medical kit. I'm not looking to do heart transplants just have a little more available than a pocket knife if I have to cut a broadleaf out of someone's leg in the woods. Excellent selection of surgical and dissection tools!! Sounds ridiculous but it actually happened to my boss on a hunt. Put him in the hospital for about 3 weeks. Plus all the tweezers and hemostats are handy even for minor issues like splinters etc.

Great for electronics and other small projects. Not sure how it applies to vets. I don't intend any animal surgeries any time soon lol. I'll leave that to the professionals.

this set is not what we expected at all... we expected the scissors to be sharpened... THEY ARE NOT. we expected a reasonable level of quality in the stainless steel... it is very LOW quality. the zipper is misaligned, so it CANNOT be fully closed. (and we are in high cockroach building, unfortunately, so they will be able to get in. so we will have to store the set rather than having it handy), and the scalpel holders are pretty bad at their job. sadness. i am giving 3 stars instead of 1... i suppose what did i expect from Pakistani steel products?
