Not on a block you have to cut pieces off. Thus, easy to assemble.

Keep the building and accessories... use the grass mat elsewhere.
As long as you're not expecting a Kibri or Faller or Heljan or Plasticville snap-together kit... Outland has some nice 3D printed kits to fill in where other HO scale kit manufacturers skip over or stopped making. You WILL need to model glue the building and fences. This is not a snap-together kit. This is a nice to scale horse stable. The horses and accessories are to scale. The tabs to connect the stable to the slots in the bottom of the roof are off and the tabs too thick for the slots... so you just trim the tabs off and glue the stable to the roof without them. Same with the fence. No big deal. The hay is a bag of loose hay so you can make piles. The grass mat is thick... in O or S scale it would be pasture grass. In HO scale, it's a wild field that would in real life be up to your chest. Lol. I used it for a wild field elsewhere on my layout and used a piece of regular model railroad layout grass mat instead. I like it, coupled with Outland's HO Scale windmill... Perfect.

Farm Stable - Not As Listed
I got this Farm Stable set for my HO Scale layout. Pros: The size reference is fine - 1:87 Scale, the building and horses are to scale and look good.Cons: The grass area for the pasture isn't good quality and is very thick. Small pieces of the grass fall off easily and someone would have to build up their layout to be able to have the terrain match the grass level (see pictures). The 3D printed pieces had to be trimmed (brown cart especially) to fit together properly. I even had to build a cardboard jig just to get the fence together enough to glue. The info says that "glue isn't needed, but recommended. I'll just say that Glue Is Absolutely Necessary! Lastly, the product info says that a small batch of hay comes with this...no hay was provided.
