Bible Stories of Boys and Girls (Little Golden Book)

The pictures are great and depict Biblical times and places. I like the way it relays to children the character traits and story in an interesting, understandable way.I am a teacher, mother, grandmother and love this book!

I bought this book for my 2 year old daughter. Every night I let her pick a book for me to read to her before she falls asleep. This is an excellent book with great bible stories to read: Rebekah the Kindhearted, Joseph the Dreamer, Miriam the Good Sister, Samuel the Prophet, David the Shepherd King, and Jesus the Son of God. Also very nice colored pictures for a 2 year old to see as I'm reading her the story.

A great faith based book to read to young children.

I am always looking for new books for my daughters. I love the Little Golden books and this one does not disappoint. It helps her to understand Bible stories in plain speak children can understand. I also allow her to take this to church with her to help her stay quiet during mass while still learning about Jesus.

My son is at a public school. He took this book at his special birthday book to share with his class. It was a book of h is choosing. The school was a little nervous being it says Bible on it, but by law he is allowed to read it. The kids enjoyed it and that was the end of that

I may have not read the description right but it’s a very flat book. Rather smaller than I expected. However the content is quite good, the text is large enough and not too much for kids. The pictures are also attractive for little ones. The stories are mostly old testament stories, however, and there’s only one page at the very end about Jesus which makes it seem like the story was cut short. But overall a lovely book and a good gift. The golden strip along the binding is also very pretty
