Little GiantLadders, MicroBurst, 6' Stepladder, Fiberglass, Type 1A, 300 lbs weight rating, (15705-001)

I bought this ladder to get in and out of my lofted bed so that I didn't have to keep the attached ladder sticking into the middle of the room, and I love it. It's relatively slim and light (for a ladder--I'm not very strong and I put it away every morning without a problem), feels very sturdy even when I'm on the top couple of steps, and has been useful around the house as well. I really like that it has the side thingies that lock it into place--it's not a hassle to click them in, but feels like it holds it even more secure. If I needed another ladder, I'd definitely order this one again.

This ladder looks really good. However, I don't like how it's 3" to 6" taller than other 6 foot ladders because it won't stand up in my van like others would. I have to put it on the floor because it's too tall. It is slimmer, as they advertised, but it's heavier too. The supports are heavy metal, and have pinch points. I recommend it for a homeowner that needs to store it in a closet, but not good for a electrical contractor, like me. I don't like that it takes a long time and effort to set up. The heavy duty folding brackets require both hands to latch the ladder in locked position.

Put much thought and research into my "ladder buying project" prior to purchasing one. This one was more expensive than some of the other ladders, but it wasn't difficult to understand why. Fine craftsmanship, superior quality and exceptional safety features. A little heavier than expected, yet still lightweight and easily carried. Will outlast all the cheapie promo products advertised regularly in the weekly flyers. Checked out those ones too and not impressed. Have been using it for several months now. Still hugely satisfied. Looking into other Little Giant products too.

We have a commercial audio/video installation business with about 20 ladders, mostly little giant. We purchased the 4’, 6’ and 8’ models of these due to the low profile for fitting in our vans.We’ve had quality issues with all of them, between loose screws and the side rails not holding causing the ladders to buckle in. We are going back to Werner for all fiberglass needs.

This is the best ladder on the market for the price range. It takes up very little space because of the technology and has been durable while supporting my 285+ pounds with ease. I have used a Werner ladder consistently for 15 years and this thing blows it out. I feel very stable on the ladder and it is well balanced. Excellent craftsmanship and it's 100% made in the US. Don't consider the similar products that are $10-20 cheaper, the savings is not worth the difference in quality.
