For DJing online TikTok YouTube fb etc perfect interface
Works perfectly for online streaming from dj equipmentHelpful notes belowYou have to use with Apple lightning to jack adapter, cheaper ones don’t give any kind of sound quality! The irig can be used with an Apple device! Doesn’t work with Samsung.

Android users
I am using Samsung galaxy s21 fe. I had problems with the sound but realised that you need to buy an trrs to c adapter for your device and it will work perfectly. I don't use for streaming just to record vidoes through pa and it sounds amazing.

Does not work with lightning
The product DOES NOT work with lightning. I can’t return it as I've lost the box. Major waste of 50 pounds. Very disappointed, ruined my whole life.

Works for streaming but...
I tried the product to stream on youtube and twitch using my phone connected to the outputs of my audio interface at home, using my DAW to add effects. Also, I used only the 4G+ connection of my phone. Results: audio quality is not clean as streaming through OBS with your home wired internet connection. Now, I think the problem is not only the internet connection, but the device itself, and your smartphone's or tablet's capabilities to deliver a good quality live-stream. At home, on your laptop or PC, you can easily set bitrate, fps, encoding, and more options, while on your mobile device, you CAN'T if you stream directly using the Youtube app (or IG app or Twitch app).pros:- it works with batteries so you can use it with your phone anywhere, but you still need some form of effect for your instruments if you are a musician.- if you record a video with the Open Camera app for android, where you can choose to use the external microphone (in this case is the Irig solo), it really records the audio quality delivered by your DAW if you're connected to your laptop or PC. So for simple video recordings, it does perfectly the job!cons:- a good streaming audio quality also depends on a good internet connection- the streaming audio quality also depends on your mobile device's capabilities to deliver a good quality live stream, which is not always a description that you can find easily online or in your device instructions. I still haven't found a smartphone where the live stream capabilities (fps, audio bitrate) are in the leaflet or in the information web pages online- the headset input works only to monitor both your vocals and your stream. What I mean is that: if you plug a headset (mic+headphone) into the Irig input for headsets, the audio stream sent to your mobile device will include also the audio from the mic of the headset, EVEN IF YOU TURN DOWN THE VOLUME KNOB OF THE HEADSET of the Irig. When you turn down the volume of the headset of the Irig, viewers will still listen to your voice, but you won't listen to yourself and the streaming audio on your headset headphones, which is just dumb. I would have preferred to have a volume for the input of the mic INTO the live stream and not into the headset, so I can talk to my viewers whenever only while I was not playing music. Like this, the only way to turn off the mic of your headset plugged into the IRIG is to unplug the whole thing, but this creates a distorted sound when you are live streaming.- it is recommended, in my opinion, to use a VERY NEW snappy phone with good upload speed to deliver good audio quality. So you probably save money buying this device, but you need to spend more money on your smartphone.- you will need something to monitor your audio stream: I use the Open Camera app for android, where you can check the input level from the IRIG. If you look online you will find it.conclusion:I needed a device to live stream good audio quality while I'm street performing, singing, and playing a guitar. I tried to connect my amplifier to my smartphone via the Irig and to stream on youtube. However as I said, the audio quality is not as streaming from home with your PC, but was better than streaming just with your phone and no external mic; for now, it is acceptable. I will try to use a different smartphone and see if the sound quality is better or not. My smartphone is a Motorola G7+, a very old phone, not a flagship. Then I tried to record a video, using my amplifier - > IRIG -> Smartphone. The sound quality was great, and very clean, but I had to keep the "Stream" knob set at level 4. At level 6 the sound was a bit distorted.Hope this review was helpful.cheers!

Not compatible with lightning adaptor.
Does not work with lightning adaptor, not iphone or android. Tried on multiple devices and connectors but no joy. Works fine on a older device with a 3.5 jack input. Luckily I had an old ipad sitting around so I've decided to keep it as the audio quality was good. I'm using it to upload snippets of records to my Instagram account.

Working out the box
Gives a nice clear sound from my mixer but make sure the battery is nice and strong or it won't work.
