Nice colour, this stuff prints really nice!
Edited review. When I first used this, I couldn't get to stick or produce a nice finish. I figured it out and now this is my go to filament. Be patient and fine tune your temperature and speed. Extra slow first layer and all is good!Such a lovely colour and matt finish does work, kind of. But I can't just can't get this stuff to print consistently. It does stick well but slow the first layer right down. I get the same underextrusion on two different printers. The print temperature range is quite large but there is no apparent sweet spot either. I'm gonna keep this reel but save for a lazy day when I can figure out how to print it!

Not up to eSun's usual standard
This is one of the worst PLA's I've ever used. Like most people we tried cheap brands to start with and they were dire. Been using eSun's PLA and PLA+ for over 12 months and it gives consistent results time after time. The matte PLA was terrible. Poor adhesion and messy prints. I know many reviews say similar things and it's usually noob mistakes. But this stuff would not adhear on any of my 6 printers. Ender 3 original bed, Ender 3 Pro spring steel, Ender 3 Pro magnetic bed, Ender 3 V2 magnetic bed, CR6-SE glass bed or CR-10 Smart glass bed. Temperature range to get good flow produced poor prints. Caused multiple blockages. Temp tower and benchy used. Beds leveled etc etc. Don't waste your time with this. You'll think your doing sonething wrong or your printer has problems when it's just this matte PLA. I hope eSun either change the manufacturing process for this or discontinue it because it's damaging their brand.

Looks great but it was a hassle
This is a great looking filament but it seems that, on this colour, it's a significant hassle for most people. I had given up printing with it due to adhesion issues until I got a Bambu which mostly sorted it.Based on online threads, most people struggled to get any decent prints. Worth noting that I've never had an issue like it with another filament.

I do not recommend this filament
This is the first time I've had an issue with any of the filaments I've bought. This filament has caused me so many issues with my prints. It just keeps snapping halfway through. It might not be as frequent with a dehydrator but if I could go back in time I'd spend more money on a different filament because it's not worth the hassle of it breaking constantly and having to restart the entire print. I've wasted more than half of the reel on unfinished prints because of the breaking issue. Sorry, I would genuinely avoid this one and pick anything else.

Be prepared for initial frustration
This is one of the most frustrating filaments I have used but is also one of the best. You really have to take your time in getting it dialed in. I ended up having it stick way to much to the build plate to start with.My normal setting, 200c print, 50 bed did not work at all for this, at 50c bed it would not stick at all, when I bumped up to 60 it stuck too well, what I have found works really well is 60 c print bed for the initial layer then drop it to 50cIf you're having issues printing it, try 230c nozel temp with 60c bed, ensure the bed drops to 50c after initial layer, using an adhesive on the bed will also help.

Nice Looking PLA
This printer filament prints well with very little setup, looks good with a 0.1mm layer height.the only downside I found is you have to give the hot end 5 degree's more than my temperature tower showed as it blocks the nozzle at lower temps (Temp tower showed 220 degree but ended up around 225 degree)

Great filament
Lovely colour looks amazing and prints nicely took a little to get temps correct so there was less stringing but well worth it

Poor Filament
I bought 2kg of the Matte Grey as I do like this colour in other brand's filament, but I went with this as it was quite a bit cheaper and have I regretted it!I have had this several weeks now and have not had a single successful print with it. I have tried all range of temperatures, but all this stuff does is chalk up and clog my nozzle after about 5 minutes of printing. It's going in the bin now and I'm having my rant on Amazon. It's my own fault I should stick with what I know.Pay the little bit extra, don't buy this stuff!
