You can clearly see that the split is on the seam. There is not a single dent on this cue, it has been well taken care of and looking closely at the split, in my opinion it happened because of alternating seasonal humid summers, dry winters and the glue failed because of wood shrinking and stress. It should have been covered by the warranty. I had the original receipt and tried repeatedly to get them to change their mind. Obviously they are not standing behind their product. I have heard several similar stories from others I have played with. Don't buy one of these laminated cues. High dollar and you'll get zero when it splits on you.

While I love this Z2 shaft, the diameter at the join point with my Pechauer cue is slightly smaller, leaving a small but noticeable "edge". Since I put my chin right down on the cue to aim, I feel this edge as I stroke, and it's not comfortable. Unfortunate.

Shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition. No dings, dents, or scratches. It was well packaged for protection. Well done.Hits great, extremely low deflection. This is my second one I've bought and have liked both. Tough to control, so it takes time. Replaced the tip with Kamui Medium tip. Love the way it hits.

I am a die hard pool player for the last 20 years and while the Z2 shaft does take some getting used to, it's still the best pool cue and shaft I have ever used. I use the shaft with a Predator 1st Gen 5K7. I get so much less deflection with this shaft. Great combo, I highly recommend.

Came in earlier, which was perfect. The box had a dent in the middle so i was concern with dings. After inspection i was very pleased to find there was no dings :). Now i just need to get adjusted to the shaft. Great product :))
