BlochDance Women's Broadway Lo Character Shoe

These shoes are exactly what my daughter needs for the plays she's in. Bloch makes a high quality shoe, even at the entry level shoes these are. Ignore the Amazon sizing chart, it is not accurate for these shoes. I didn't realize it with the pair I first ordered for her, until they came and she tried them on. According to Amazon's shoe sizing chart (which is the one linked to these shoes), I ordered the right size (a US women's 7M), but the shoes were too small (they sent the size I ordered, so it wasn't the company's fault. I went to the Bloch website and looked at their sizing chart; it shows that the manufacturers size 7 (which is what I ordered and received), is actually a US size 6. So, we received the 7's today, they are going back tomorrow when the UPS place is open, and I just ordered the 8M's. Once she actually gets to wear them, I'll update this and let you know what she says about comfort level. My kids have had other Bloch shoes for dance classes before, so I'm not too worried.

The shoe size runs small. I had to order 3 times to get the right fit. I normally wear a 6.5 and finally had to get a 7.5.That is my only complaint.

My daughter was measured for a size 7 1/2 but can never wear shoes her actual size because her feet are so wide and boxy. After reading other reviews I knew I needed to order a size up but knowing my daughter I knew she usually has to go up at least a half a size for her foot. I ordered her a 9 wide and they fit perfectly and she said they are super comfortable.

I am extremely disappointed in the quality of these shoes. They were used ONCE and the strap ripped. They were not mishandled whatsoever. The material feels cheap. Bloch has definitely cut costs (of course the consumer pays top dollar). I have always bought Bloch products and needless to say I will not be replacing these with another pair of Bloch shoes. One star is too generous

Bloch makes great shoes, better than Stelle. You know how I found that out? Because I received one Bloch shoe and one Stelle shoe in my order.The return/exchange process was simple and fast. Within minutes of discovering what had happened, a replacement was being shipped.Unfortunately, I don't know that it will be here in time for the dance I wanted them for. The original order was a day late arriving, and now with this exchange, it's going to be right down to the wire. So if they do get here in time, I have to keep my fingers crossed that it's correct.The shoes are incredibly comfortable, way more than the Capezios I already have, and the fit was fantastic after sizing up one size from my normal shoe. I'm really looking forward to getting both shoes, and would recommend them.Just don't trust the estimated delivery date, and give yourself plenty of lead time in case you too get two different shoes.

You need to get about 2 sizes larger but even then you never know. Get them in time so you can return. Or buy different sizes and then return the ones that are too small. Why such a discrepancy? Makes no sense.Quality is what you would expect for the price.

I wear this type of performance shoe instead of other pumps when heels are indicated. In my 9th decade of life, I wear gym shoes almost exclusively. Bloch to the rescue! I can walk in these and stand in these with ease. Weddings and funerals here I come in my Bloch shoes. Capezio and Bloch are the best.

I followed what the other reviews say and ordered a size and a half bigger than what I normally wear. They actually fit very comfortably.These shoes have nice soft insoles in them which make them super comfortable to wear. I did end up putting duct tape on the bottom of them to give them a little bit more grip without fully covering the suede soul. Worked perfectly. These are a great pair of character shoes for the price and they’re a trustworthy brand, so what’s not to like?

These Bloch dance shoes have been worn only a few times, yet the strap snapped almost right though today, just when my daughter was having an exam. Very disappointing and not what I would expect from a brand like Bloch.

Shoes not a true to size shoe. Definitely not accurate sizing chart. I’m a size 11 usually and sized up to 12w as suggested. These fit like a 10. I guess I could bind my feet like a Shang Dynasty lady. Disappointed I won’t be wearing these otherwise lovely looking shoes
